The word Gay is unfairly banned
 

Im confused why we arent allowed to say the word gay on graal. Does admins have anything against them? Some admins say it was because it was misused but plenty of other words are misused and not banned.

Also you cant say boobs on graal even though we are celebrating breast cancer awareness.

I think this needs to be changed because some of us have 2 dads and when we are referring to them typing homosexual is too long

The word your mom should also be banned because it is also used unfairly

We should also ban the word Noob because that's so over-used.

Um if you're going to refer to boobs in the context of breast cancer awareness then you would call them breasts..."boobs" is slang and offensive to some women

I'm surpirsed "sh.it" and "ass" aren't counted as bad words on there.

I am a huge supporter of gay rights having grown up with homosexuals close to me and living in NYC.

Unfortunately the word has been abused a lot and has developed a negative context across Graalonline. It's sadly irritating. That's why it was censored. This was probably before I was staff. I'll see what I can do to reverse that.

I think that's a bad idea.
When people find out the word 'gay' has been unbanned, that's all you're going to see people saying on Graal, and it won't be used in a positive way.

Why remove the word if its meaning is not a bad one?

Some words have other meanings, as displayed in day to day life.

This is what I planned on typing but you it up very well - its "sadly irritating" the way people use this word as a "cooler?!?" way of saying "bad".
