Do you think the 'Reset your spar stats option' should be added? Yes, no, or undecided?

The staff hasnt added it for some reason ..... idk how u release 2 types of sparring and no reset option o.O

Yes, as long as the 'jailbreakers' don't find a way for it to JUST reset losses.
They are always trying to do stuff like that :(

Classic doesn't have reset spar. Why should zone?

Probably to show sympathy for the ones(including myself) that were ****ing around in melee spar while they didn't believe the win/loss ratio would affect your status? my win/loss ratio is horrible as it is now

uhh cuz this is "zone" not classic. and our main spar is gun spar ....

you spar to get better, why erase past mistakes? It is part of the learning curb and sets the people with high ratio stats on a higher pedestal than if you could just erase something. Having good stats takes skill and practice which is what zone is about. Once I see actual facts or reasons on why it should be added and how having good stats being common and not something to be proud of would be a good thing, then those will remain my beliefs.

By far the most stupidest thing I have heard you say on these forums, good job it must of been hard to beat your old record.

Seriously jester, you can't just join a game and *spoof* get a positive record, beat everyone. All the players that will play zone, who haven't been on era/classic will fail.
I don't even understand why the hell didn't you guys already add one.

Its not about the ratio or whatever, its about that new people are gonna want to spar, they are gonna get owned 0-20, they're gonna stop sparring/have **** stats, because YOU didn't want a reset stats npc.

That is the point ozzy? Did you even read, or just push to have your voice heard as you often do? Everyone will suck at first yes, everyone will have a bad record yes, that just makes that point where your record is going positive even more valuable as it means you actually GAINED the skill and you can see the progress taken as spoken by stats. You are quick to support someone calling me stupid, yet too lazy or ashamed to have your full progress shown?

The game is about being the best skilled wise. That is reflected by your stats. Why should stats be able to be reset when that is the main focus? Again, it makes the people who are having good stats for spar much more noticed and much more appreciated. Now, are you going to continue the name calling or actually offer something that may change my mind?

In case you still don't get the point, sparring is a progress and is meant to be a shining point on zone. It evolves you skill wise on 1v1 wherever you may encounter it on other battlefields such as KotH or CTF. Do you reset the bad things that happen in life? Or do you reflect on it, improve, and get better eventually diminishing the bad?

I can spar, I had 600-1000 on era, got 20k-6k whitout resetting, because I didn't give up. But only 1/10 of people who will have bad stats will continue sparring.

And also, when is duke gonna be reset for having boosted 500 wins? If not, ima just go and get 1000-50 as none zone staff cares.
And you said skill is reflected by stats, wrong. Look at duke. I totaly agree with you on everythingn. But if stats=skill then anyone with 1000-10 boosted stats is pro. -According to you.

We don't reset just based on one or seven players complaints? Do you have legit proof? A video? Or do you just have a picture of a new player with many losses? I have like 15 losses and 3 wins on my ipod, does that mean I boosted someone?

Also this brings up a good point, in MY opinion, spar stats mean nothing on era. Been saying it for a year, you can have the stats but not the skill to back it up. Why? Because you can reset and just spar when only noobs are in the room, and if you lose just reset again. This also makes resetting by staff not really effective or an "I don't care effect". I doubt someone would be stupid enough to risk boosting, getting caught and reset and losing their legit wins in the process.

If you can provide actual evidence against duke other than he sparred a new player multiple times, then do so. Otherwise, who hasn't taken advantage of the fact a new player is getting used to the game and getting in a few wins? Also I would love to see that 1000-10 stats you are talking about.

Also those people that do care about stats will try and get better at spar and continue practicing, simply because it is shown on the account. I wouldn't want to walk around with 0 wins 200 losses, so I would train and get my wins up. It separates the lazy from the dedicated imo.
