Teach me how to spar!
 

For a while i've been thinking that i need to get my spar wins up as i look like a noob at the moment with the amount of wins i have. So today i thought i went to the battle arena to get my spar wins up, so i went in and got flawless'd by a guy with 41 hours and hardly any spar wins. This has woken me up and now i know i need help so any tips, tactics and really any help would be appreciated!

To be honest I think you learn how to spar from experience. Losses teach you what you did wrong and wins teach you what you did right.

Go kill a lot of baddies and try not to die. Or go pk towers. It'd help you improve on speed.

Probably you asked for the iDevice sparring but a tip for PC:

Get the offline editor and place a normal noob which can walk around (can get setted through a extra window while placing). Also add that the noob can fight. Now fight him and when you think you can do harder, improve the speed. Should be a better tip than nothing for PC.

Okay, this is how I win most of the spars I go into with a sword:
Run around, act as if you're not too eager to fight, and let your opponent chase you for a bit. When he's been chasing you for a small while, turn around suddenly and launch your attack while he's bored chasing you.
Keep doing this over and over and over.
I usually win doing this lol.

there are two main strategies you can use.
1. be like me and charge while spamming sword all over the place, with no real target. random, but it works.
2. stay as close to the wall as you can while spamming sword and run away to a nearby wall when the enemy gets close.

this..and just start sparring ALOT, I used to be able to go on win streaks til I lost and I was sparring for a couple hours a day...now that was a long time ago and I dont spar as much, now I kinda suck..just practice, recognize your mistakes, and practice...

dont rage at laggers cuz when you complain it makes you look bad

I just use my ninja skills. :/ The only way I lose is if the other person is too ninja, or if they lag and my skills can't hit them.

It really doesn't help that i'm playing in Australia, the server disconnects me a lot of the time when i enter the spar match (which is why my ratio is so bad).
