Sage's Random Crap GFX..

5 Attachment(s)
Just created an account and got asked by someone to make a graphics thread. I have alot of random stuff which I don't really want to throw all into one image due to my laziness, so I'll just post my random crappy graphical things as I see necessary.. Hope you think they're as crappy as I do? haha :shy:

So, first of all, here's a custom body I made for fun. A tree I never managed to fully leaf. A speed mockup I did in 15 minutes. A pumpkin I made for halloween. And lastly, a weirdo cyclops I made. (which is very old, as well as the mockup and the pumpkin!) Will upload more soon..

*clicks on thread* Me: "probably some new nub trying to make gfx."
*page loads* O_O
I take back my first thoughts

Good stuff here. Some AA would be interesting to see on some of these pieces. Thanks for sharing Sage!

Pumpkin looks awesome, the tree looks awesome as well so you should finish it. The only thing I'd suggest for the tree is ditch the blue secondary lighting and transition the highlights a bit better(either by adding another, slightly darker highlight, or making the highlights smaller away from the point of light).

Yeah, it was a really rushed technique which I tried for the first time.. I mean it does still look pretty good either way but I have no intention of finishing it because I have no use for it. XD Thanks for the crit either way.

Moar randomness? Alot of unfinished stuff (As usual) Alot of tiles, mind you that some of the things that are in the classic tile set sheet are not ALL made by me, so don't jump to conclusions. ;)

You're right, it does look REALLY good, and you should finish it because it's like 90% done. Even if you have no use for it, others may!

Your work kinda inspires me to try to make my own pixel art. I just don't have a clue how to do it... How did you get involved? Guides? Tutorials? Or just talent :P

A little of everything I suppose? I wasn't anyone people would praise for being good when I first started, that's for sure.. But not long after I started I began getting a lot better. :)

Thanks sage :) I really like your pixel art.

I really like those classic tiles, I really like your's than my works. However, can I have a permission of using some of it on a server please? I would really appreciate it!
