I still can't decide whether or not I want to jailbreak my new iPod when it arrives. It'd be cool, but I'm kind of too lazy :P

Not yet, when the iPhone 5, iPad Mini, iPod Touch 5G get jailbroken it (iPad 2, and iPhone 4S) will be jailbroken as well.

iPad 2 can only be jailbroken on iOS 4.3.3 or lower.

False. The iPad 2 (and 3) can be jailbroken on iOS 5.1.1 using Absinthe 2.0.
