Well, there is a website to check if it's from you or the server is down.
Minecraft is working fine for me tho.

Well maybe its up for you, but for me and other people who live in NY it says the website is down

It's usually from the proxy, try setting your proxy DNS to 8.8.8.8 as google has it.
