Graalians Minecraft -- PVP??
 

Lately several players have been asking for the server to be changed to PvP. I've experimented with it on for the past couple days, and now I'd like to hear your thoughts.

If I were to keep PvP on, I would grant lots of safety regions around towns and major settlements. I think that PvP inspires roleplaying and a lot of players seem to like it, so it could actually turn out well. Additionally, the five-second rule before warping would have to be re-implemented.

If I were to turn PvP back off, I will add at least one arena for players to fight one another in. You guys could even build your own and I could region them as PvP.

Want to try to get a grasp of what everybody wants instead of just Higbey :)

I like the idea of an arena and custom ones!

Not unless there's a way to opt out of pvp. Obviously not a way that allows people to just toggle it when they are being attacked, but a way that allows anyone that wants to not be pvp to be so.

Also, forced pvp causes problems in the community and leads to rule breaking and arguments.

Just make a pvp arena and stuff like dat. ez

Nobody will use a pvp arena really. everyone pvps to kill unsuspecting people

Multi player games with no pvp is just pointless. I and most graal players, play mmo for the 'compatition' against others.

And I challenge you to a spelling competition!

Yeah, maybe we can do it Graal style. Guilds can't kill each other and no one can kill one another in an area around spawn/designated house/guilld base can't be pvp'd in.
