Gun sound

May i ask why the Famas, M1, and the AP0 Have the starter pistol sound? Is suppose to be like that?

I remember being really annoyed when Famas used to be the best gun. (it was better than m4 at one time in era) The sound was so soft and weak, yet the gun is powerful. Ap0 had a great sound in Era Pc. I kinda wish era used that sound.
