Graalians that do status polls can go in two ways-- either they give up, or look for ways that actually work. Dedicated and hardworking people will eventually find the resources they need to learn about the community and apply for admin. To me, a part of being an admin is being able to have the creativity to figure some things out on your own, aka problem solving skills.
