Resetting my house with items in same place?

Hi,

My farm doesn't work properly it freezes up and I can't harvest. This happened on another account and I fixed it by resetting the house. By resetting I mean I chose the same exterior house and interior house design. I didn't remove the plots...they just stayed there when I reset but the furniture inside the house moved or disappeared back into my inventory.

Problem with my main account is that I have an elaborate outdoor design and indoor design with hundreds of items like trees, statues, etc. so I'm wondering is there some way I can keep the same exterior and interior items in place without having all the items moved around both inside and outside if I do the same thing with this account choosing the same exterior house and interior? It would take hours to put all those items back in place.

Thanks for any help.

If you change your house it leaves your furniture in the same place. I kept my exterior the same but I'm not sure if my interior was the same - that said, I don't think it matters - even if you change them I think the furniture stays.

If you want to make sure, you could go on an alt, buy a table or something cheap, place it, then change the house.

Hi Jarace....thanks for your reply! Before I go ahead and do this...Did you change to your same house interior and exterior or completely different interior/exterior.

I just want to make sure before I go ahead on this.

I really appreciate the help.

Same exterior, but I didn't check the interior.
