December 24th Maintenance

During the maintenance period we did a purge of all the millions of house levels.

Since houses are all based on templates and the furniture is stored in a separate database this isn't an issue but will cause your house or guild house to be unavailable for other people to visit until you enter your house or guild house at least once.

We plan on putting in a fix to make it no longer necessary to enter your house at least once for others to visit but it likely won't be implemented until after Christmas.

Oh, that’s why my old castle house with the great farm reset. Gotta change my house now, thanks.

To fix the extensive lag?? Hm..? or is there another reason for this?

SomeGuy 12-24-2018 05:02 PM

You purged them? My furniture is all still in the right place? Nothing has changed.

Well it appears my friend lost his guild house and he had a old layout from 2009 and his old furnitures are gone as well, so please fix that issue Fp4

They should submit a support ticket and we can investigate.

If you never changed your layout until we introduced the different kinds of layouts you likely just need to re-create your house or guild house for everything to return.

Dang that sucks. Loved seeing what lucky people did with those layouts.

Yes and yes if you have one of the newer (which are still like 4-5 years old) layouts.

Also yes this was another change aimed entirely at improving server performance -- which we are seeing compared to how the server was running 24 hours ago.

ive had two wooden bookshelves randomly go missing this morning. Restored furniture and they're still not there. Might be related.

Nah, it's all good. Fair for everyone else, but now I have ~100 conveyor belts without any purpose

you'd probably get banned again if you tried to use them

Castle farm sucks anyway.
The treehouse GH can be set up more efficiently. With half the conveyors.

the grass tiles were updated 1-2 years ago, but those who never changed their house kept the full farm. The "maintenance" updated the tiles, so you can't 2p horse farm on it anymore, or use the sword spam version. I mean, you can, but won't make as many gralats as before

it's whatever though. Good thing is I can now change my house without worrying about losing my farm, since I've already lost it
