lmao.

Probably true, saving the specific npcs and their positions and having multiple slots for that sure doesn't sound like the easiest thing.

It wouldn't exactly be difficult, but there are a few issues that come to mind:

1) File size. Every furniture, their attributes/customizations and position would need to be stored. That would take up a huge amount of space.
2) Saving/Loading it would be intensive on the server.
3) It gets tricky when it comes to things that hold data, like plates and such.
4) Potential for glitching/abuse would be high. Between the probably long loading/saving of furniture the potential for some sort of glitch that would allow players to duplicate would be high. Not worth the risk.

yeah I guess those reasons are the most valid, I have no idea about how easy or difficult things are so all I could think of was that it sounded like a pain to make lol.

Ahhh ok that makes sense. Thanks for explaining~

Is it possible to make an easier way of setting a guild tag by having the command "set tag (guild name) or (the number of the guild for example, in my account if I said "set tag 2" it will set the tag of the guild Male) in public chat? It's just so much easier for us to change tags especially when the server is lagging. The "load slot (number)" command is very useful, if it's possible to do the same for setting guild tags that would be useful too.
The purpose of this suggestion isn't just because you can't set a tag inside a guild spar room (I don't know why? It doesn't stop people from boosting because you can still pause (on pc)by going off tag which is still possible) So the command is still going to be useful even if you unable it from working inside the guild spar rooms.

Couldn’t you have another storage space where the server goes to, and searches for the layouts? Wouldn’t be instant, but at least something. Could limit the data of the layout being sent to however low it needs to be, and there would be a message saying “Your house will be ready soon.”

Could limit players to a set amount of furniture that can be saved in each layout, so they would have the most important furniture already set up

or you could just have house layouts saved/downloaded on the user’s device/HDD, and whenever they want that specific house, then they just upload the file. Not sure if that’s possible

Wouldn’t be instantaneous like in Clash of Clans, but at least it’s automatic
You’d also have to limit people by allowing them to change their layout every x amount of hours, similar to the “randomlook” command

Could have a queue, and charge for it too. That way, not everyone will be able to upload at once, and you’d need money. Those who are too lazy/have too much furniture would be the one’s who’d pay for the process

Since devs seem to be picky about what classifies as important information, that probably categorizes as unimportant, since you can ask other players/look em up yourself on websites

You mean the player should see all the available commands in public chat after he/she says "show commands"? That's also a good suggestion for new players and un-experienced ones.
I believe the current available commands you can do are:
  • loadslot (number)
  • showguild
  • showguild (guild name)
  • showlag
  • showguildrating

Nah there are some more.

Example:
Ever felt overwhelmed by chat while walking by burger refuge? Just use clearchat!

Lol and plenty more if you count "emotes" and "ganis"

You mean the player should see all the available commands [/LIST]

I mean Dusty said he was going to implement this ages ago when we got 'Loadslot' but it never came to be... yet.

I think the easiest way would be to have a server PM response with a list of possible in game commands... or else just have them listed somewhere in the game world.

replace the nightowls controlled gp team just get rid of them hire some professional adults who know how to handle power more than handling themselves to their own weaboo customs.

What if you limited the number of objects to be saved or specifically flagged only certain kinds of objects for positioning?

Another effective way to limit the filesize in some games is saving 'groups' of objects. Connecting 5-10 objects that can be placed together at one time in a specific configuration. This would require a 'group/ungroup' option in the interface and, again, a method to save, however.
