anything new in the game?
 

I haven't played the game in like 2-3 years at this point and was wondering if theres been any recent new things or new areas?

There's been quite a bit.
-CTF is back
-The Easter event now has an island to go along with it that only pops up during Easter
-Swamptown was redone, there's now an auction house alongside some other stuff
-There are rewards for logging in daily
-There's a currency you can earn by sparring called Spar Coins
-The Castle was updated (you might have already seen it, depending on how long you've been gone)
-Phase 1 of the new guild system was added.
-There's a temporary reward for towering until the new rewards are done - the top guild this season will receive an exclusive hat.

Now's a great time to return to the game, since the 10th anniversary event is still live. There are portals that take you back in time to old versions of the map, complete with quests and a ton of new content.

I'm sure I forgot some things that you missed, but these were the first things to spring to mind for me.

Here are two things I could think of.

With the castle update there's also a new area of the map north of onnet/mod town which is really helpful with completing a few of the bounty types. The big city boat was also moved up here.

There are now automated events which reward you with tickets which can be spent on items in the mod circus. The stock in there rotates out daily(?) so it's nice to go in every now and then to check what's for sale.

He means that you can now put bombs underground and people who walk over them trigger them.

Also a new bomb+arrow effect/affect it looks like the arrow and the bomb are combined into one (animation included (bow(arrow))) ends when makes contact with object and explodes.

Fer freaks sake thought it meant the mines around the map were gonna open up.

Uglier hats, super cool new quests though!
