My laptops wifi turns off randomly

So this has been happening for a few months, but sometimes my laptops wifi will totally disable itself and I'll have to go into the adaptor settings and re-enable it.

Any idea as to why this happens because I cannot think of a single reason why.

happens to me too but only at my house which has 2 separate wifi accounts in 1 router for some reason. No idea why it would do that, though.

Sounds more like a software issue. Try restoring the Operating system

I had a similar issue some time ago on windows 10 with my USB wifi adapters this is what i did.
if you goto "change adapter settings"
right click (your wifi adapter here) ----> then
properties ----- > then
" clients for Microsoft Networks ------ > then
configure tab -----> then
power-management and uncheck the "allow the computer to turn of this device to save power"

it might solve your problem.
