Why the hell do you people want a port of a game older than the last ones when we can get a new one?

Because it’s the most competitive version of smash to this date. And with every version of smash after it, there has been a mod to make the game like melee.

Because the gameplay is without question the most in depth of any of the other titles and beats the next best one by entire orders of magnitude.

Project M had Snake which the new Smash game didn't so its automatically better.

I didnt play Smash 4 (because Wii U was garbage), so idk if ill pick up Smash again when 5 releases. A little excited for the possible BotW Link moveset overhaul (which is only community speculation at this point). However, I am glad theyre getting rid of the ******ed 3rd party characters 4 had -- this is part of why I had zero interest in 4. They also really need to fix the ridiculously overpowered characters that can one-shot you when youre only at 40% dmg. If they cant rebalance their characters well, Ill probably have no interest in 5 either.

Honestly though... anyone who plays melee by tier lists is a try hard fox or Falco. I mean, I main Yoshi and have won plenty of locals. The reason I can’t get into Smash 4, is because of the floatiness of characters, and the dumb as hell ledge trump (and cough cough* bayonetta and cloud pay2win)

Honestly, kirby is my second half.
