Linux client broken?

Not sure if this has been brought up/answred recently or not, but has the Linux client been discontinued? I tried downloading it from graalonline.com and running it but it wouldn't start. Apparently some packages were missing. I managed to get it to run by installing the following:

Quote:

$ sudo apt install libsdl1.2debian
$ sudo apt install libsdl-mixer1.2
But I couldn't get it to load up properly. The console was reporting the client to be outdated:

Quote:

aaron@aaron-VirtualBox:~/Downloads$ ./Graal
Direct Rendering is enabled, Graal should run smoothly.
Data directory: /home/aaron/Downloads/
User data directory: /home/aaron/.graal/graal4/

Scanning done.
Graal has been activated!
Loading tile definitions for server Login
Connecting to the game server...
Done.
Please update your Graal version!
Initialized OpenGL.
Has it been dumped?

User dir is set to graal4? Dunno if that's right but if it is then yeah that's severely outdated.

Late response, but the Linux Graal binary doesn’t support the latest client encryption. Your best bet is to either use wine, or install Windows.

Smelled fishy to me. I thought it was an outdated installer but I remember using a Linux build of Graal 6 a few years ago so there's a Linux version of the V6 client out there somewhere. I doubt the site is serving an old V4 installer but I guess it's a possibility?

Also good to know, thanks :) Guess it's been dumped then.
