Hello this is my bug guide, it may not be perfect but can still e a good source of information...

How to get the bug net:

In the south east corner of Mod Town, you will find A treehouse called Adam's treehouse, go inside and talk to adam, and he will give you the bug net.

How to sell bugs:

Go to Beryl's treehouse in swamptown, while inside equip the bug(s) you wish to sell, then tap the bug, she will ask you to sell... Also, if you talk to her, everyday, she ill have a different bug she needs, so Beryl will pay extra for it.

Monarch butterfly:

40 Gralats
Habitat: Anywhere
Size:85mm
Rarity: Fairly common

Dragonfly:

10 Gralats
Habitat: Swampy areas (Swamptown)
Size: 76mm
Rarity: Very common

Pillbug:

80 Gralats
Not much known about these... these are very rare and I caught two of them in Kris kill ems' bathrooms....

Emperor Butterfly:

40 Gralats
Habitat: Flying Anywhere
Size: 92mm
Rarity: Uncommon

Ladybug:

50 Gralats
Habitat: Around flowers
Size: 6mm
Rarity: Fairly common

Grasshopper:

20 Gralats
Habitat: Grassy areas
Size: 40mm
Rarity: Fairly common

Praying Mantis:

30 Gralats
Habitat: Around bushes
Size: 70mm
Rarity: Uncommon

Swallowtail Butterfly:

40 Gralats
Habitat: Flying anywhere
Size: 50 mm
Rarity: Fairly Common

Karner Butterfly:

40 Gralats
Habitat: Flying anywhere
Size: 70mm
Rarity: Fairly common

Firefly:

40 Gralats
Habitat: Dark areas/Woodlands (Lots in Onnet Forest)
Size: 16mm
Rarity: Fairly common

The fact that we're putting out content means we ran out of ideas? lol

Well, I think it is more like an Iera way to get Gralats, by doing jobs instead of farming, not animal crossing. But I think it is a better way of get Gralats than "farming"...

Graal had bug hunting before Animal Crossing existed.

So what if they took it away? I'm sure you'd be the first one to start crying about it.

This may need to be updated. I saw a couple of new bugs, although I have no information on them. Might wanna check into that.

Pillbugs are on railoads i saw 2 times.

ill add some tips

mantis hide on bushes, move yourself one tile away from the bush and use net, it will catch it, if it flys away it will head to the nearest bush, you can beat it to the bush.

ladybugs are easy to catch on the ground, let them land near a flower and then snag em,

wait for dragonflies to stop and use your net to make them flee away when they stop over somewhere you can reach them, you can sorta sheperd them.

pillbugs can enter rooms, they can go through exits and entrances.

butterflys fly away fast if you miss near them.

more fireflys spawn in the eastern part of deadwood that requires the lantern.

dont steal bugs from people, if you see them with the bug and trying to catch it, let them have it, and let them know you are letting them have it and not just not seeing the bug, this way they will hopefully return the favor and respect you and wont steal any bugs from you.

Quick update on the new bugs.

Ringtail Moths: Onnet Forest.

Light Blue Butterfly: N/A , still trying to find it.

Black and Red Ladybug: N/A, still trying to find it.

Is it the only one bug for now?

Different colour spiders, bigger/smaller ones, centipede, any scary weird looking bugs would be cool

1) (to rufus)Can instead of everyone making new editions here,have a page(like graal card for status) for all of it because I'm not sure who may be wrong or right and it is confusing looking at the 2 pages(and recently another thread) for all the bugs.

2) add some small woodland creatures too(such as squirrel, chipmunk, birds or even rabbits )

Catch chipmunks and birds in nets? Seems a bit weird...

I was naming some stuff and now that you mention it >.> make a net that is thrown (like bomb action) instead ^_^

You just want it to be like your pet idea.

Not really,sell the animals to a animal horder who buys any animal or something.

Sorry for posting even after this thread has died, but can somebody post an updated bug catching guide? I've been searching for one but this is the only one I have found, and the information isn't detailed enough (although I am aware that the author posted this a week or so after bug catching was released.)

With the help of others. Graalians can make a bug guide that shows a picture, the name, locaiton, season, price, special price, and strategy for catching bugs. Too bad not many people work together for these types of projects.

:/ that sucks, it'd be nice to have a detailed bug catching guide wth all the information about them.

There's actually a bug library in swamp if your interested with all available bugs

All it tells you is the bug's name, what it looks like, rarity, size and general habitat. Size isn't useful, and the habitat only says stuff like "Woods" "Hillside" "Railroad tracks". Not very helpful.

I'm talking about a guide on how to catch bugs. As dumb as it sounds, people would like to know how to approach certain bugs, and more specific habitat information would be nice as well. They can also include how much the bug sells for.

And for the weight thing: maybe they can use this as a part of selling bugs. The witch could pay more for bugs that weigh more (or less, depending on the day/season/occasion.)

Not if I'm all the way in the Oasis. A guide should include the costs of bugs, how much they cost when the witch needs them and how much they cost in winter. Other than that, a guide on information on how to catch them, example: what to do if a butterfly is near the water and you want to catch it.

I meant from the bug library and if a butterfly is near the water you get your net out then you watch which direction it's going check if there's any building are near or obstacles you get to the edge of the river were u think it will meet then when the butterfly is one and a half graalians away from you you move your right thumb and you press the green button to your right and press the net button.

Bees:lurk unders bushes good spots to hunt are outside castle near the brothers house etc.
As soon as a bee spawns you will see them rise and flash red at this moment you run and get a good distance between you and the bee wait until the bee is a good 3 graalians away from you and time it right this is critical as you only have one opportunity and the bee dies due to stinging you and decreasing your health by 0.5
It's best when ur on 0.5 away from dieing that u bomb urself Incase u may perform a glitch catch bees spawn very often but are hard to catch :3

Improve your grammar, spelling, make a separate thread including guides on all the other 10+ bugs and then I'll be happy. :D
