What i don't understand...
 

The red crab dagger beats a kiwi/hunter.....how does a free item that everyone in era probably has, beat a kiwi/hunter that suppose to be a rare/great melee?
i don't understand how the red crab dagger gets 8 damage and knockback while the kiwi gets simply 9 damage...seems legit

Ask them why the kiwi/hunter does 9 and is 20 EC while the other melees are 30 EC and do 8.
It's probably because people complain all day about not being able to get EC items so they make free stuff. Like the candy cane. Free and does 9 damage.

Katana and Bamboo can go on your back. Duh

Guns/melees will never be balanced.

K show me where katana is 30 EC. I meant hyrule dagger and mace etc.

HomoPanda I simply love you for this. I've been saying this for sooo long how it's not fair how they give away all these spd daggers for free when older players actually had to work hard or buy in auction to get. I paid 80k for hunter so long ago and now it's not even special anymore because they watered down the greatness of it with several free items. It's annoying.

The 30 EC melees are also quite a lot faster than the kiwi and hunts doing more DPS.

Actually I think snake rekon said they're just for show. Damage per second doesn't matter when everyone has 50 Hp because there's a slight invincibility phase between hits. Very slight but when the difference of damage is only 1 it doesn't matter anyways. When hitting a vault at a gang base, it may matter. But when you say it's quite a lot faster, I have to disagree. I've seen them used and the speed is nearly the same as other daggers.

kiwi/hunter can beat a katana/bamboo
free daggers can beat kiwi/hunter which entitles them to beat hunter/bamboo

Fight back with your own free stuff...and technically, the ec items are somewhat free...

Thats not the point, i didn't spend time winning 16 man spar for my kiwi just so a free melee can be better.
EC items are not free, you have play events and pay with ec's to get them

I was thinking the same thing. In this case, the damage doesn't matter. It's the knockback that makes it better. It's really annoying that I can't even use my kiwi anymore because I can never win with it.

The crab daggers can freeze you it's very annoying.

Maybe It's harder to find balance then we think.

Probably won't happen but.... melees grant you movement speed boost?

Lol i dont know what you guys are talking about my hunter kills red crab daggers all the time ex i have a red crab dagger its ******ed because it spins not in 1 direction, therefore hunters more effective and knockback should have stayed on the hammer.

Crab daggers beat my lightsaber sometimes because of the knock back and the stun that comes with it. Maybe they could make it so that we can still hit back while flying through the air?

I hate melee knock back Because it feels like you're lagged. Especially if they knockback you near a wall because you can't move or attack, and they have you in one place to keep hitting you. Gun knockback is even more annoying but...

. Anyways I hate melee altogether simply because I could use a weapon like pirate hammer vs an SPD or Maraca dagger OR I could be using a gun,and with the slightest pinch of lag, they end up doing killing me because my weapon isn't touching them.

I literally hit someone 7 times with the pirate hammer, and they took 30 damage, meanwhile they were using an ice dagger and completely killed me. The same thing happened with my guns. I'll be shooting them in the face and they take no damage, meanwhile they melee me dead.

I was pretty annoyed when they released umbrellas and it had the reflect thing that I feel only LIGHTSABERS should have. (sorry for caps too lazy to fix iPod typos) I feel iEra has become very melee based whereas they should focus on the "100+ guns" they have

Tiny daggers and silly umbrellas are very easy to beat as long as you have a real melee like katana 100% better than all other melees except for saber.

What i dont understand is why do homos cry so much?

You can also use a gun to beat melees i use my bar to PK and my XL ipad screen helps me sneak attack and dominate. :P

I completely agree. It doesn't even make sense that the umbrella can reflect bullets, I mean, even a bamboo rod reflecting bullets would be better. I also think they should give the umbrella the bamboo block, instead of the saber block.
