Idea of Adding Several Ammo Type
 
Hello

So i have been shooting at the firing range last night with my
bolt action rifle (Moisin-Nagant) and had pretty good shots with it.

well this is not a story telling thread so i will move on.So i made this thread because i was using several bullets in the range and they of course have different feature and i realize era only have one bullet type that is always in the red box. Damage of course is by the gun you are using so the bullet in Era does not much do anything... Now if it did , in my expectation it would be much more fun shooting in era the range

Feature:The most easiest ammo to use



Electrical Ammo

Feature:Electricity is running through these small bullet , once the bullet hits the target, the target will be stunned for 3 second and wont be able to do anything.
(this may cause complains to people if to be used so limited ammount is been thought for the bullet)

Warp Ammo

Hit Point:Excellent
Feature:Once this ammo hits the target the target gets automatically warped back to the start point and the target would be really annoyed if this bullet hits him several times by the same enemy.
(This will make complain if it is freely selled. Should be thought for an limited amount used in one day each person)

i still have more ideas but these are just some samples of ammo i am thinking to be enjoyable for the players. This is just an idea so not much a big deal but i hope you like my idea too.

I like the ideas, however as you stated, people will complain. I think the warp bullet is cool but may be asking for trouble. The electrified bullet would be nice if it had a chance of a stun, instead of stunning every shot. By the way, nice GFX.

What I think now yes the bullet should be 50~70% of getting the target stunned then getting stunned every time and thank you for liking my GFX :).

Seeing different ammo types would be pretty cool. Would give reason to open ammo Mart. However I think these special bullets should not be found laying on ground but can only be bought. Nice idea

I thought the same thing too. If they aren't selling ammo like PC Era then there isn't much stuff to go on in ammo mart.Thats actually the 2nd reason this idea came in to my head.

I like the idea of seeing different ammo, but the warping might be annoying. Maybe the bullet could warp them a few steps away?

i like the idea of different ammo but there are many flaws. such as with the warp one it will be so annoying and can you imagine basing with that? and with the electrical one maybe have it so the fire rate is lowered so it makes it even with normal ammo. But this is a realy good idea and i like the idea of the ammo mart being used

The idea I made are Just examples that I thought would be good example and I didn't really thoughtif the detail of the ammo.As V. Said the warping ammo might be better if it warps few steps back and or as lord greg said making the fire rate even as the regular(normal) Ammo might work out as well.I never really thinked of the detail of the ammo much but really much thinked of (Adding Several Ammo Might Be An Idea)and (Since there's ammo mart why not open it up then changing the store)

Ok then, I'll think of some ammo types.

Poison Dipped Bullets: when a player is hit, they have a 40% chance of getting poisoned. The "bleeding" damage or red gas harms players.

Tumbling Bullets: bullets that rotate in the air as they travel. This would be a 40% chance for +1 damage for one bullet fired.

Chocolate Bullets: bullets made out of chocolate that heal gang members. Heals 3 hp per bullet. (Yes, like the muffin cannon.)

Sticky Bullets: bullets covered in a sticky gelatin. The bullet causes players to loose their ability to switch weapons or use items (grenades, food, etc.); 40% chance.

I say no on the warping bullet. Many people try and stay away from start becuase of the lag. I say it should warp them towards you so you can kill them easier. Just not to start.

I like the GFX for the poison and warp bullets :) how's about rubber ammo? It could be -2 damage and 1/2 clip size, with +50% reload time and it makes people flinch when you shoot them. It could only be used in pistols other than the colt. And why not incendiary ammo? It would make a nice big fire wherever it hits that would do a little damage to people who go through it! But if the weapon has low freeze it would make smaller fire.

a thing to think about is how change what type of ammo you want. maybe a quick tap kind of thing but that would remove the already existing quick tap function if you have 2 guns equiped.

Other than that its a very good idea.

Go to your inventory. Tap the ammo you want and click equip. Your character is now using that type of ammo. The number of ammo you have has been changed to the new one you're using. That's how it should work.

this is probably the way it have to be, but that is a very ineffective tho.

Despite not being hotkey friendly. The ammo box is the first thing you see when you open up your inventory.

Eh. How about we have rifle ammo for rifles, hand gun ammo for hand guns, shotgun ammo for shotguns, and.... Wait.

I do think it's funny how you can shoot Rockets with regular ammo. And as for the poison bullet, if they just added bleeding back. I remember they used to sell bandages but for nothing. One went for thousands at auction house lol.

Light Ammo: Increases Movement Speed.
Extended Ammo: Increases ammo in clip by 50%.
Rifle Grenade: Shoots one grenade from your inventory from your gun, attaches to barrel of gun so COD fans won't get mixed up with the M203.
FMJ Ammo: Increased damage but increased speed.

Alternate rubber bullets-
Bullet speed decreased by 20%;
Special feature to bounce off walls;
Bullet dissapears after 15 seconds (Like normal bullets) if no player is hit;
Adds a little freeze rate;
Damage is decreased by 1.

Ice Bullets: 40% percent chance of having the green gas effect. An icicle forms underneath you.

Super Spread
Greatly increases the spread range of your gun

Speed Shot
Halves damage on your guns but increases rate of fire.

Just by the looks of it. I really want this to be added to iEra. Great concept idea.
