iEra Ninja Hat Competition
 

Hi all of you pixel artists!
Recently, a new project started development. This is a Ninja town to match the Pirate themed area which was made earlier this summer (or winter depending on your Hemisphere). BiTzSam and myself thought it'd be a good idea to let the players help us on this as we don't have many hats made yet, so we'd like you to make us some!

Competition Rules and info

There isn't a set time as of yet, I'll post it later on in the thread, as the project isn't finished yet.

Please post your PC# or Graal# here with each submission (This can be found on Menu -> Feedback)

BiTzSam and myself will be judging this mainly, however, others may have a say. So if you have any questions regarding the competition, please message us on Graalians or ingame.

Each image must be original content (NO STEALING!!!!!!!) or heavy edits of already existing images (nothing in this thread). Failure to do so will result in disqualification.

Please keep the chat in this thread to a minimum. I'd like this to mainly consist of hat submissions.

You can submit as many hats as you like, you will only get 1 prize though.

Lastly, the prizes:
1st place will get 5 ec and their hat
2nd place will get 3 ec
There is no 3rd as of yet, may change this.
Every hat we deem good will receive 1 ec

What's their to stop me paying you out with 6 ec so I can win?

iEra Facebook is already released. Either way, the prizes are non-negotiable.

Let's all refuse to part-take until prizes are changed.

Also, is there a limit on how many hats I can make?

When does this end and when will the new content be available?

You can submit as many hats as you like, you'll only get 1 ec though. It must only be hats, nothing else.

Not sure when it ends as the project isn't ending its development quite yet.
I'll update the OP with more info now and i'll say when it ends later on in the thread after i discuss it with others. (should be 2 weeks or so)

Is an Emperor hat goes to a ninja style? :p

Can I post edits of hats I just made, or does every hat need to be completely different? I'm thinking about posting more colours of this hat.

Take your crap elsewhere, HP, if you don't like the thread then get out, I don't care if you don't like it, there are many talented artists out there that think otherwise. Same goes for anyone else posting useless comments in this thread, there's no need for it.

Will they be used as hats? Because then I could Do some recolors of my current hat, seeing there aren't a lot of people posting...

i was actually kinda thinking about this, you guys could script up a google chrome app for the browser that does email as well, but has improved controls.

Yes they will be used. Regarding your hat, you can only submit it if you made the hat yourself (recolouring your own hat is fine) and if it hasn't been used elsewhere.

What If I make one good hat, but recolor it 5 times? Can I get 5+ ec?

Read the OP, I clearly stated that it was 1 ec per player, not per hat.
Also thanks Jester for pointing that out, I'm liking the hats too, especially the third one.

Jester, as you stated MSM made an edit, I believe you're editing too... I came across this head on graaldepot, and thought it looked alot alike...
So I pasted into a hat template and recolored it, and it looks alot like your hat...

See, now you have to make me make you look like an idiot. Let's see here, I submitted three hats thus far. Notice how they are all edits of each other? I submitted them in the order I made them. Notice how it goes from one giant hat to the straight headband to the slanted headband? So you are telling me that all of those hats are stolen then.
Also, why the hell would I need to steal anything? In fact why would I? How many thefts have I caught? I'm not dumb enough to do the same thing. But since you want to play hero, lets play ball.

as you can see both my headband and my mask carry a different shape. Also I love how you named your files "proof, proof1, proof2" Next time instead of investing so much time into trying to make people look like ****, as I see you have done with Knuckles as well, make a half decent looking hat yourself.

Oh and only thefts use Graal Depot, so you in fact are a thief. Congrats and trying and failing.

Says the dude who caught loki with a hat that is probably impossible to find. No, I actually recognise that because I own a mask alike. And I didn't say you stole it, "idiot". I said it looke alot alike. Which doesn't say anything. Editing is allowed, you go all defensive now, not me. And I don't even own/ never have owned a custom head, I was just looking through to see what others have already made, so I can still be original. And yes, I named those files like that so I could easily find them, and not the era_custom_head_blabla. Isn't that hard eh?

$5 says i can find a lookalike of your hat within a hour.
