Y'know that screenshot of iZone Stefan released? I was playing graal pc and I was logging onto the abandoned servers from long ago, and I logged onto shangri-la. I though "okay, looks abandoned and underdeveloped" until I took this warp, and I ended up in the place that was in the screenshot of iZone! I know, I know, it makes as little sense as it probably does to you to me. It especially doesn't make sense that half of the server is a classic server themed island. Now, someone plz fess up, cuz I'm confused 0.o

That's what I kept saying. But from what I heard it's not a copy of it. It will be way different and so on. I'm not sure, will have to ask again.

They've probably just ported te whole level and not make any changes.

Yeah I wouldn't put it past Stefan to steal a playerworld and upload it to iPhone.

That's not Zone, I'm pretty sure that's Graal 3000. A very old server. Or at least... I think that's Graal 3000. Zone never looked like that, but the Observer mode thing shows that it's a newer screeenshot. However it also shows that it's not a Classic server(meaning it's probably someone's private server where they uploaded stuff that didn't belong to them and are trying to pass it off as Zone.

iZone uses Shawn64's tiles, at least I believe it does.

It's Stefan's version of Zone for the iPhone. Basically it's some of Shawn64's levels and nearly all of graphics, mixed with some of Zone's graphics on the other planets, where you actually fight. There's a lot of co-op mission type things where you defend an area with your friends for experience, and then there's some other game modes. That's what I gather from first-hand accounts relayed to me, anyway.

I like that they did away with the Kingdoms bodies.
They used to put a damper on PKing-- the hit box was still the size of the default Graal player.
Which was good-- because it would have been worse if the hit box was as big as the bulky Kingdoms-style player.

I promise you don't have to be worried and concerned about not getting the good 'ol zone back, seeing as that iServers are a mobile port of a server, not the actual deal.

iClassic is more like UN with a classic/zelda-styled overworld, whilst iEra is like Era with a bit of a twist. The servers are referenced to their original names, parents if you will, due to their relation of concepts overall. For example, iEra was focusing on Era's theme of an Al-Capone time period with vast and extravagant arsenals.

If you look at iZone, the concepts overall of Zone will be there, such as the focus on PvP and PvE rather than general Pay2Win or the focus on a huge storyline. There will in fact be missions in which you can partake in with your squad. I believe Zone had this awhile ago, but once again, it's a mobile spin-off.

Considering Stefan plans on making iZone all one big network (Client, Mobile, Facebook) I think I should.

iClassic I assumed is based on Classic. UN is based more around events I assume.

The focus of Zone has been and always will be straight PvP. Pay2Win was never viable to actually be successful on Zone, the kids that did buy weapons, always ended up losing against an average player.

There was never any actual PvE content on Zone (There was one "planet" in development that never saw the light of day for good reasons). The mere mention of it on anything related to Zone is absurd.

If you actually kept what Zone was based on (Full PvP, Highly competitive) then I would agree it was a spin off but it's not it's LOOSELY based on it.

I think Stefan actually said himself that there will be PvE.

Which only furthers my point that iZone will be more like an futuristic iEra server that's loosely based on Zone.

It probably will. Or, it seems like that to attract Era players, but more Zone-like additions will be made to the gameplay later. I can dream :(
