Smite (Pure action DOTA/LoL-like game)
 

this looks amazing O_o all attacks are skillshots. I need a beta key :(

I heard it was really good

Started playing it, it's amazing. Graphics are not only great but run incredibly on low end computers. Gameplay combines both pure action with all skillshots, and strategy of every MOBA. It found a way to make farming important while eliminating the boring task of last hitting(you can last hit for slightly more gold but it isn't necessary.) currently only 17 champions but there playstyles are all so different that they are each fun and unique to play especially with the combat system.

I saw this in the gaming section and I immediately thought of the "/smite <account>" command in Minecraft. I got very excited because that is my favorite command.

Ymirs my best character at the moment, however I find anubis fun as you need really good aim as him.

Anyhow, my brother is obsessed with the game. He's begging me to let him play it on my laptop.

Hmmm Im tempted to try it out.

It is absolutely nothing like WoW in any way. first off, the game plays in matches than last less than an hour. WoW is a nonstop MMO game. secondly, it has pure action combat unlike WoW with auto aiming. additonaly, you pick set characters rather than make your own. It's like League of Legends, Rise of immortals, DOTA, Heroes of Newerth etc except with action 3rd person combat.
