Player Relation Admin's (PRA's) are allowed to hire at any time needed. I heard that they most likely will not be hiring by applications. It seems to be an ineffective way, for the most part, to hire. Most of the people hired from applications have gotten fired within a couple of weeks (not all, however). Those who have been hired by pick (a PRA member chooses which player they'd want to fill the position) have not been instantly fired.

WHAT??? Omg. I emailed snk my ganis 3 weeks ago. About 2 weeks ago, he said he saw my ganis and liked them a lot and will think about hiring me. Yet he never told me the answer he had.

Yes - PRAs can hire seperatly. I was asked to apply, and I know many staff were simply asked straight out, instead of applying.

well isnt that a bit unfair to others? as PRA's might choose their close friends or siblings for the jobs... and other people like us may not ever get a chance to be a PR/PRA :l i think its un ethical to be honest

It's all about trust. Of course a pra will hire a close friend over a player they don't know very well. It makes sense.

trust? well stefan hired snk and snk hired all these PRA/Pr/GFX/Dev n etc... their not close friend of snk i presume they ware taken from an application so where was the so called "Trust" there? obviously they ware good at it that why they ware chosen... plus most of admins live all around the world so trust is nothing to do with it... it could be more like self interest for them.. coz hiring a close friend/sibling is really not professional, it's firstly unfair to all players in era who stands a chance to be one of the PR.

no im not new to graal all i think everyone should stand a chance to atleast apply, at least there is a process not just anyone recruiting there own close friends/family..
Trust me all the recently hired staff aren't staff because they are friends of adminastrators; they are all experience Pc players. Snk wants to steer away from the application style hirings due to the majority of the last batch getting fired rather quickly. Most of the new staff will be hired because they have been noticed by an Adminastrator for helping other players or displaying a high level of talent in what they do.

well if that's what the admin team and snk thinks then it's that way then giving a rather fair chance to everyone.. there is nothing we can really do about this anyway if the hiring process has gone to this situation where players will be automatically picked to be a part of the system.

Because we don't want people from pc having so little knowledge on iera be hired. There's plenty of iera people who are mature and willing to be a staff.

Herb, Auron, every original administrator - all PC players, proven to be qualified based on their Graal PC experience.

Hiring seasoned PC Players has nothing to do with favoritism. They are simply more qualified. Managing PC Era for some time, SNK worked with many different administrators, developers, etc. If one of those players, who has already proven themselves as qualified, shows an interest in helping iEra, they are the preferable pick.
Some players have been playing since as far back as 1998, how can you possibly have the gall to call your measly 2-3 years experience comparable?

There is no base experience to be gained from playing iEra. PC Experience in any staff position(be it Dev or PR) is 100% transferable. The only qualifications contingent on iEra experience are things such as store locations, interface, and item prices/stats which can be all be learned very quickly.
