Era on Smartphones
ERA ON SMARTPHONES I got some friends that really want to start playing Era, and maybe Classic too. But these friend, dont got a iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch! They just got simple smartphones/androids, like one of my friends got Sony Ericson. He was going crazy when I told him that it only worked for iPhones, iPads, and iPod touch. Why cant you get Era or whole Graal to smartphones/adroids? Is there any problem about that, or what!? My friends isn't these friend that have time to dig, and pick trash and more, these are guys that will purschase gralats packs, and more. You admins will earn more money if you develop it for more phones. Why, snk? WHY?? |
It currently is being developed there's a recent forum post about the deadline and one about info

You just got bumped.

sending it to android will ruin the game, trust me... about 4000 people online per day that will get old user devices over charged and even if, all android devices are not as powerful as an ipod 2g

Android devices have similar, if not better hardware available to them. Graal will run fine on newer Android phones, it's like saying you shouldn't let iDevice users play in case they play on a generation 2 device because they'll lag. And my piece of crap phone runs laps around an ipod 2g. |

It'll add to the fun really, the amount of issues we had with IPOD made it interesting to be a staff member imo lol, obviously we'd do some prior testing to see how things go

Ipad isn't fully portable srsly, it does NOT fit in your pocket xD I wouldn't consider it portable when you have to lug around a carry case or so, but that could be just me. Anyone with a SmartPhone can call and text for free, there are plenty of apps that do that, of which I have ones for such things. Ez. |

Android will crash each time it will open graal once it's backed up, I'm sure because android use the same system as windows and it will over heat and crash... So probably need a way to fix it even tho it's not fixed for the people who use windows 7 :)

Don't really have much issues with overheating on my phone o.o.. Ipods etc get overheated as well with graal, so its just a common problem from extended use |

Believe it or not, it uses the "Android" OS. Which is developed by mainly Google (along with others) for mobile platforms. Imagine an iOS except it's comes jail-broken and you can make/host applications for free with no limitations. |

IPAD IN MAI POCKET! Dunnun na NAAA

the architecture of the operating system is based on linux, but it was MADE by google and it is called Android- google used C, Java and C++ to create the operating system.
regardless of whether fanboys believe that apple products are superior because of branding or software or what not, there will be and is healthier competition in the android market because of the shared OS. companies are striving to push the OS and the hardware forward. seems like every few months or so theres a new android smartphone pushing the envelope so the talk of androids not being capable of running graal is ridiculous. Any software problems can be ironed out, graal isn't the most taxing game when you consider there are 3d MMORPGS (not talking pocket legends kids- look at Order and Chaos Online for example) work fine on alot of the more capable droids- tell me graal wouldn't be sick to play on an Xperia Play |
