Is it possible to

Put a mc world on a flash drive? If so how?

The Doctor 04-23-2012 04:53 AM

Windows:
Go to %appdata%/.minecraft/saves. Drag the world you want onto the USB flash drive.
*presses easy button*

MrSimons 04-23-2012 05:03 AM

Yes, on Mac you do this:
Finder>Library>Application Support>Minecraft>Saves>Drag world file you want into flash drive :D

How can i save it on a internet web page that plays it? Directions pls, ive spent roughly 8-10 hrs on it.

The Doctor 04-24-2012 02:29 AM

Just listen-go to appdata and .minecraft and saves. It saves the map from minecraf5.net in that folder as well.

spades of feare 04-24-2012 02:48 AM

Appdata is accessable through? Sorry im a pc noob considering im never on mine exept for basic things.

The Doctor 04-24-2012 02:52 AM

Windows XP:
Press the start button then run. Enter in the following: %appdata%/Roaming then click .minecraft. Open up the saves folder.
Windows vista and 7:
Press the start button. In the search box type %appdata%/Roaming and press .minecraft. Open the saves folder.

Done!

spades of feare 04-24-2012 10:11 PM

HappyCat123 04-24-2012 10:15 PM

Oh, well its a .zip, but it has a PDF. And I'm on an iPod. Just get on a PC if you can't see it.

I doubt your school will let you on %appdata%

spades of feare 04-25-2012 02:49 AM

Any other way then? And yeah :/ i tried. No results.

The Doctor 04-25-2012 02:59 AM

No way unless you hack it

Dusty 04-25-2012 03:13 AM

Pretty sure when you play Minecraft through your browser it possibly uses the %temp% directory instead of %appdata%.
