The KSG shotgun.
 

As you all know, there is a new shotgun, coming with a riot shield which prevents you from being damaged. The shotgun itself does three damage (two bullets), and the riot shield itself doesn't work that well.
It looks great, but it costs 75000 gralats and it just isn't worth it. What I'm trying to say; what are your opinions and shouldn't it do more damage or work better? (the riot shield)

i dont have it, but i agree that it might do a lil more dmg or that it should be sold cheaper in the store.

I don't think so. It's hard taking out a riot shield with a bar when they just keep looking at your direction.

riot shield doesnt always block the bullets? i killed someone with desert eagle, while he had a riot shield.

I ran into the same thing, beat KSG with my M4 with him facing me the whole time.

It doesnt block the bullets at all. If a bar keeps shooting at him, at the fourth shot or so the the KSG wielder will receive damage, his shield will disappear due to the damage taken (you know what I mean....?) and it won't block bullets untill the KSG moves... I have it, and it's true..

So its basically extra armor for your front? And moving causes the shield to replenish?

It does, in some sort of way, replenish. and it's not extra armor, it's an unlimited shield that just doesn't work that well. It should be upgraded (more damage? A better functioning shield?) because now it just doesn't work. for 75000 you can buy tons of weapons that are better than the KSG.

The KSG Shotgun is great in close combat, it deals heavy damage (as like all other shotguns) if used in a close combat.

There is a 30% chance of being hurt with the KSG. Before I released it, I played with it for an hour or so to test and I noticed the following:

Bad ass in close to close combat
Not good from a distance, and rather slow

How much damage is heavy damage? :/

It does 3 damage, (is that heavy...?) and for 75000 gralats it's just not good enough. I bought it in an auction, but otherwise I would never have bought it. If an M4 (which costs less than 75000, and its strength is based on its ability to move freely while shooting, almost no freeze) and the KSg would shoot at each other from very close, the M4 would still win. So, please consider to upgrade it, or make it cheaper. (I really hope for the upgrade, and not for the KSG to become less expensive ;P)

I waisted my money on the AP0 for the same price of the KSG shotgun and wish that I had saved it for this new gun. Please lower the price if anything or I might not be able to get it :)

From what I see, I think the only problem is the spread.

And why would the spread be the problem...?
It's the damage and the the shield itself combined with the price it costs.

I don't know... A 30% chance isn't too bad for blocking bullets, as long as it works right. I think the spread should be wider, so the bullets have a better chance of hitting. Anyway, maybe the damage could be 1-3 points higher... But I haven't had the money to try it out...

I'm just trying to clarify why a shotgun which costs 75000 gralats just doesn't seem to be as good as you woul think for that amount of money... Like 80% chance of blocking and 6 damage per bullet seems better for me. This might be 'overpowered' but so is an M4, (ehile it costs less than 75000) a shipka, PBP and bar... Please make the KSG better ;)

It does 7 dmg per bullet. 14 up close. Each bullet counts as its own damage. It's good if used up close as snk said. It's the only weapon that shoots and dodges at this time. You're lucky to even buy it and not have it as an auction only gun. Stop complaining

Well now that the gun and the shielf were already released that way and people have already purchased it, i'm predicting your suggestions won't be happening unless the staff update all the owner's KSGs.

Jester, with all respect, I got it and it does 3 damage per bullet and not 7. And by the way; I got it in an auction, so I'm not complaining about anything, I'm just being realistic.

Maybe you should upgrade it then :o

They make the new guns overpriced, very weak and sucky, so people buy gralat packs to make Stefan and Unixmad happy >.>

That might be, but I really try to convince people to see that the shotgun should do more damage at the least (3 damage per bullet...?!)

Perfect it does 8 damage, 3 damage PER BULLET shotguns are good for close comba because each bullet does its own set of damage, its set damage if both bullets hit is 6, 8 perfect, the riot shield does block, if ur hit move forward or shoot and your shield goes back up, so yea, i still need the repair shop tho since mine only does / damage, 1 per bullet, i recieved it rusty Dx

Also guys what are you on about, more spread is crap, if its more spread chances itll only do 3-4 damage, it does 6-8 since they both are close together, so ignore what theyre saying xD

Okay, but since you almost never hit both bullets (freeze, easy to dodge) isn't it really overpriced? I like it, I just want it to be somewhat better, because for 75000, as I said, it kind of sucks. It takes forever to gather that, and then you notice there are a lot of way cheaper weapons which are better...

Then you shouldn't have bought it. Dot you guys get tired complaining after every single update? I saw we take away all the guns except pistols so you guys can appreciate the work our staff does for you

I complain once every 5.3 updates. I say my peice and let it go.

Ok...? I'm just trying to make people (yes, including staff) aware of the fact it's overpriced.
I got it myself for just 24K, which is a good price, but I'm speaking for the people who bought it for 75000... Just because you didn't buy it and have nothing to complain about, doesn't mean I can't... And with that; what does the price of the gun have to do about my appreciation of the staff team?

And what if I did buy it and you're just making up stories to make your point seem more valid? Lol. It has a damn shield with 70-80% block. Like I said before you're lucky it's not an auction only item going for 100k

There's nothing wrong with KSG...It's a legit gun especially for basing...Like I always say. "Don't Blame The Gun."

The bullet both do hit... Its called shooting AT them.

To make it clear guys,

Stefan and Unixmad don't set the prices. They can ask me to change them, and the only time they have ever done this is when I released a bunch of hats when Era opened.

We discuss the prices of new things on the RC. I usually go for higher prices, and then staff members talk me down =p

So basically it's a bamboo rod with range, which makes it better in a sense and you don't have to earn ec for it :p

NEVERMIND: I got the gun and i think that it is awesome... but... the damage is really bad! It should shoot more bullets or increase the dammage becasue it isnt $75,000 worth yet :)

I'm still saving for this gun. It can be useful to protect your allies and members as they move forward to the "flag".

Ya like jester said and babyghost you can just use it as a shield instead of a gun, i like it because i can protect my newb classic friends who i persuade to join from peopls. While your moving which the bamboo cant do.
