Paintball gun:D
 

Hey guys! I made this paintball gun recently, hope you love it!

And yes, i realise it doesnt have a reload, anyone mind fixing this? just tell me!

nah actually i made it way before you, and when i saw yours i thought, "Imma upload this!".

Anyway please tell meh how to make it have a reload.

yeah. the reload of the paintball gun is kinda hard to make.. its different then a regular gun reload :/

do they have a different template? do they have someone who could make a gani?

This got auggested a lot of times. Maybe I can get a group of 3 people (for LAT, GFX, ganis, ...) to make a minigame out of that? You will get tokens after each game and with them you can buy the paintball gun for usages outside of the minigame and more tokens for extra ammo, hats for more protection and whatever.
Ill show snk the idea tomorrow maybe I can get something out of that :)

Sorry I dislike this. It doesn't match how regular paintball guns look, first off-
1: hopper is too small
2: CO2/Air tank is weird looking and doesnt distinguish as a tank
3: regular paintball guns dont have a clip like that
4: Try making it look a little like this

5: sorry, im a little hard on you. I play tournament paintball and like, play world cup and stuff.... Of course I want a paintball gun, if implemented, to look as correct as possible.

I gues, why not. At least I could try it since I´m still trying to get into the custom systems of iEra.

To be honestly: I never bothered to take part at events :P just when I got admin I did do the hosted ones. Gotta test the other ones

I mentioned in a previous post that if any levels are needed for this supposed minigame then feel free to ask.

ill make some of the GFX for the minigame! it would be real popular, and you could have paintball teams that gamble money! i would love to use my gun for this! The one bas has needs work, but great job, and idea Callimuc! just tell me if you want me to start doing the GFX for it

Its a idea thats been around for ages. Even i have made one.

Imo, the idea of a paintball minigame in iEra is kinda stupid. It was fun on UN while it was still played, but it was only fun because the server only used swords and it was change from the ordinary. Era uses guns all the time and wouldn't really add any new gameplay aspects and imo wouldn't be too appealing from just regular pking.

why not make it an event instead of a minigame?

Surely if something else was added to the supposed 'paintballing quest' it would add an aspect to the game. Such as a form of CTF, but each player can only survive three hits from any paintball gun before being taken out of the event. The original '1 hit and your out' in real life would prove to challenging for many users and slightly harsh if they had paid to enter the event.

so is this idea BS and not going to be used now or what... i still think it has potential and there shoulld be some ideas posted here

Um I don't see why we need paintball, we already got laser tag which is the same.

Had been busy with exams and so on. Will try to create the first things soon ;) and check how the project will be going

Okay then, who takes care of the:
GFX,
SFX,
Scripting,
And Leveling?

milkshake could do SFX, pix could do script OR maybe we could let njc try it becuae he is learning and we could test him here, leveling could be chaotic or another graphics/level team admin, and my GFX could be used.
