Graal Time
 

I noticed the other day that it is hard to collaborate an event with my gang when we are all in different time zones, and thought, "Hey, why don't we have a 'Graal Time'?" Maybe something simple like a time displayed at the top when you open the menu? This could lead to other things, like having a schedule for events accessible by all. Maybe even a digital clock for your house that displays the time? Just a suggestion, please post any other ideas you may have regarding 'Graal Time'.

already had this in a similar idea that could work for era too, if snk so desires, it basically has a whole graal time zones with a three day/night cycles per real 24 hours so it works with all timezones fairly, so it would be a working in game time.

That would be kinda confusing having 3 cycles per day, kind of defeats the purpose of having a time, because there would be three instances of any given time each day. And I would prefer that it does not turn dark, and change creatures, as this would lead to even more lag. :3

I actually made this a few days ago, and it's funny that you've just mentioned this. It's a level with a server clock in. Perhaps it could be used to plan events that players have to be on at a specific time for to take part in. Players could gather at the clock and could even plan events with their friends using this. It should be called EST (Era Server Time) I accomplished this by grabbing the npc-server time and showing it using text. I originally made the level so I could hang out there while working, but I guess it could be put to better use.

Yes, Good idea.. But better if we call it Graal World Time it will be on your screen while you play or on menu or u need to say like :worldtime,/worldtime,worldtime.

@Emera Era Server Time sounds cool but why cant we just do same time on era and classic. That could be good. So if we put same time in all Graal games we couldnt call it "Server Time" so World Time is better? lol

That too :P I've already scripted a server clock on dev and I think using chat commands would be the best way to go about showing the time.

I was thinking about that as well.

It doesnt have to have it own button or anything, just have a time at the top right of the menu screen, above the news button.

That would be a cool extra, but i don't want to have to run to wherever it is just to see the time >.<

Hmm there could be a big clock tower and a pocket watch accesory that you would normaly walk around with it and when you press attack when it equiped it shows you the hour.

Maybe there could be clocks you could buy for you house and cars should have them build in
