As the Spring Guild Spar Tournament ended, the crown and belt went to US in an impressive display of spar skills on both servers! Impressive! How did your guild do? Which server? Which item did you get? Most importantly, how much fun did you have?!

It was fun watching the GST and rooting for different teams since I didn't participate.

My guild did awful, only 2 people were on, one member missed it because they were drunk at a pub, another lagged to death, and Poptart was running to CVS to buy an iTunes card so he could get a VIP account, both subs whereabouts are still unknown... then we got paired up with Pend4nt.... But ya me and Pluto had a great time.

Kinda annoyed we weren't accepted into the 32 teams to spar.

Which team were you going to go with :0?

im happy theres no "OMG US WON AGAIN ITS UNFAIR" crap posts on here, slightly increases what little hope i have for our community having a sliver of good sportsmanship.

THEY HAVE WON EVERY GST...but seriously I think people should think of them and better themselves

Ventrue, why wasn't our guild accepted I did see some guild messages about that...

There are 64 guilds allowed to participate on the iPhone server and 32 guilds allowed to participate on the Facebook server. In order to determine who gets these spots the guild ratings (that you acquire from guild sparring, hence why it was announced so many times this week) are used. Guild ratings are shared between iPhone and Facebook servers. It doesn't matter if you are in the top 50 on the Facebook list; it simply means that your guild had sparred there once to display your points on the leaderboard while others were sparring on the iPhone server. Guild ratings are also used to seed the matchups in the tournament.

If you weren't able to participate this time, but had a full team of confirmed members, this is the reason. It's been this way for months now too, so I'm not quite sure why people aren't fully aware.

Actually, US had some very close matches. There were other guilds expected to do just as well, or better. Everyone had the same fair chance on both servers. In fact, Take Care actually beat US in casual guild spar a few times. They also won a GST for themselves.

If anything, it was a fun, fair and nail biting experience. Great job to all teams that entered.

but it was expected.

I didn't expect it. Many members of the guild thought Take Care had a stronger team, and Mother came up with a strong enough core team. You are in the audience in this situation, viewing only what you see or wish to see, drawing conclusions to satisfy your own prerequisites.

Valid point. I will respond with respect to those who confront me with respect, and right now he deserves no respect from me. Instead of a "threat", I would call it a warning. If he breaks forum rules, he can/should be punished. I simply made him aware of that fact. (Although, he seems hellbent on making me angry or something. In reality, he lost his own "war", and I am giving him a fair chance to get his head out of the clouds before it escalates to something unnecessary.)

This is not the first occurrence, and it is not the last I bet either. Had he shared an opinion, maybe he wouldn't give me negative reputation for "get a life noob."

@Shannon and Goblin: Sorry if this is offtopic but each of you have a point but each of you are wrong aswell...

First, Shannon.. You are right at how it felt like an offensive post towards you.. But you posted a threat against Goblin.. If anything, feel free to use the report button whenever someone is directly offending you..

Second, Goblin.. Yes, US was expected to win (since the sole purpose of US felt like its only used for GST's).. But what you posted could be considered a direct assault:

Back to the point, US won for the 8th time i guess.. Which was clearly expected but as Shannon stated, played fair. US did lost a GST once and came out in 2nd place against a guild i think by the name was known as Prometheus.. Idk.. Correct me if im wrong..

Actually, we lost to a few guilds before in GST. We lost to Helsing in the first GST and did not make it to finals. We also lost to Take Care, Prodigious, and maybe another. But I have a bad memory sooo..

Nah. I didn't go to the GST because i was busy with something (hopefully, ill post it in the creative corner soon ^_^ just for fun).

My little brother's guild "Archers" was supposed to be in the GST but they didn't make it due to the ranking system that only allowed certain guilds to participate (correct me if im wrong again.. thnx)

I missed out on a GST again but hopefully.. Ill watch the next one when it arrives ^~^

You always try to "debate" or "argue" with people and sound like you're making a valid point, but you're a ****ing moron and completely wrong. Sole purpose GST's? US on iClassic was around before the GST was even conceived. It's a bunch of people that get along and aren't your average run-of-the-mill Graalians, hence the "Uncommon" bit. Even if the guild name is cheesy and made a long time ago by people that are gone, it still lives up to its name today. People aren't recruited to spar - they're recruited based on their loyalty and, most importantly, personalities. Sparring is a big plus since it means you actually know how to play the game.

@goblin, I honestly haven't read this thread or any of your posts but since you're arguing with Shannon I can only assume you're a butthurt angsty 14 year old who lost and is blaming everyone but yourself. Get good kid, you're nothing.
