Lately I've seen alot of players getting hired for the iEra staff team, without snk, or any administrator have said they are hiring. Does this mean, that you can apply if you can do anything that would be good for the server? Or is it just snk that just pick "random" people that he think is good?

I hired NorthCarolinaJohn to fill another PR's spot who was fired a few days ago.
As it was only one person, and we've been wanting to hire NCJ for a while, the hiring was un-announced.

snk hired callimuc as a new developer, as we have lost a few lately, namely Tricxta.

I was thinking about that too. I have no idea what goes on there.

No, it means that Andrew has made the decision that these new staff members are fit for the position and has chosen to hire them because of it. Just because there isn't a hiring thread open for players to send off doesn't mean that nobody is getting hired. Andrew is the manager and can hire whoever he feels like whenever he feels like, within reason obviously.

Anyways, these hirings are legal if it is what your thinking. They were down one member, and knew someone that qualified for the job and they hired them. It would take a few weeks to shift through 200 applications to find just one PR, or developer. (anyways...)

Seriously though. You should hire more admins. I could be Ganis or GFX, if you need one, or a PR. Raiden quit, and i don't really think anyone noticed.

Lol. I mean, like Reno, he just was away.That seems ok for a month. But being inactive for a month with no reason, that seems not right.

Reno warned us of it beforehand, and had a legitimate reason, n0n021 just disappeared.

I know Jatz that's what i meant. Like i work for a server, i told them i would be away beforehand. So therefore they didn't fire me.

This thread is getting slightly ridiculous. Why are players even bothered about who works for the server and who doesn't? As long as they're not giving you hassle then it shouldn't be an issue O.O

Well its pretty much not fair that people are getting hired without an application.

snk and the other staff that are high in command have the power to hire people without an application if they fit the position. Besides, who knows, they may of had to fill out an application before that got hired.

I filled out an application back in december.

Im not talking about you Ncj.

It's down to management and nobody else. If you're interested in a position, catch managements attention and prove you're the guy for the job. If they like what they see I'm sure they'll take it further.

I was away for a long time, but I informed everyone that I was going away on holiday before-hand, and even though I was on holiday I was in contact with Jatz and occasionally on RC.
We hire when we need people, usually to replace people that have left or been fired. In situations like when we hired NorthCarolinaJohn it wasn't announced because we weren't doing a general hiring and knew who we wanted beforehand.

Msm sounds desperate lol "hire me i do stuff, lemme replace raiden" if your hired as gfx its because one of the gfx team has noticed your work and become interested in you, not because your always asking and trying to be one, which im sorry msm ive seen you do... alot.
