We need a new support system.
when someone emails [email protected] they often never receive a response or it takes months to receive. I know that this is likely because of high levels of spam. This is why there should be a support website to organize it. The website(or built in system) would first provide automated responses and information to help the player fix the problem themselves, then forward it to the appropriate staff members if they cannot fix it themselves based on situation and language(if applicable) The purpose of it would be to sort all of the tickets for efficient, more useful, and more organized responses, and discard of useless ones like can i b adiam I have great idea I make graal great emails.
have the support page have a radio button list to select your issue from the following list admin applications- have players submit their applications here. Even if its ignored it'll cut down spam greatly in other areas. account transfers-you then fill out your account with pc#(if you can), email, and nick on both. ban issues- if you feel your ban is unjust appeal it here. include email pc# name etc. feedback and ideas-just a spot to take all the ideas, even if not used. bugs and glitches(may link to videos and upload screenshots reporting a player(may upload screenshots and link to videos) staff abuse name of staff member, what they did, and approximate time. (may upload screenshots and link videos) account issues/technical issues- This is not for account transfers or reporting bugs. This is if strange things happen to your account and you tried everything to fix it yourself. obviously have capatcha to prevent spam and bots. Have a 3 ticket a day limit as well as other systems to prevent spam. |
great idea. would help a lot as a lot of admins dont read emails cuz theyre a-holes like that. but stefan or unixmad or whoever is in charge of doing this wouldnt gaf, because "it cant buy them bread..."

I honestly think that there should be an in-game ticket system similar to Era PC's. It'll be much easier to monitor and check than answering emails all the time and it's much easier for the players too.

As Emera said above, it is well known of how well the in-game ticket system works on Era PC. It would become easier for the staff and give the large amount of GP's on iClassic another feature to monitor. If it was executed correctly, it would add another link between the game's users and moderators. A way to let the player's feel that what they say and the ideas they contribute are worth the effort. However, with anything there are always abusers which could ruin the system. That is the question that staff have to acknowledge. Is the need for integrating the system to the game for the amount of spam, lies and hopeless requests?!

Xexlen, don't get the wrong end of the stick. The iClassic staff team are full of responsible users and most are not accountable to read your emails, however important they may be. On a lighter note, if you don't get a reply it doesn't signify that your email hasn't been read..
