Detroit is a city that's closely connected with Canada, mainly because its right at the border, just a bridge jump away to our most populous city, so yeah, lots of us Canadians respect Detroit, NYC, etc more because they're close locations. I peronally like California because they're not at all like they're stereotypes in a good way.

I'd have to say my favourite team can only be from the NHL since I'm not big on sports. I've only watched a few seasons of NHL, so I'm saying Detroit Red Wings, just cause the Jason Vorhees mask is from that team.
