Well i saw Scaal (not shure if real or fake) sitting on the top of the bank saying our accounts will get a backup on 3/15/12. Im pretty shure this is fake but this makes me a bit timid for some reason.

I just logged on to classic to see the pretty butterflies and saw some random kid in OSL saying that. Was actually about to come put up this thread

Too late :0. Anyways i think this is one back subterfuge of vip-scam. Unfortunatly most of the people i saw there belived in what this hacker said and want to sign up on this page. Admins should act fast before something bad happens :unsure:

To be honest, i know either way if it was fake or not...

It wouldn't happen because if it did (to all the 1000+ players out there), not only would it be complete scam and loss of the Graalonline community but all parents and students would directly go after GraalOnline and sue them upon scamming..

Its funny if that actually happened.. But seriously, its not gonna happen at all..

Related to admin warning not to give out UDID on any site yesterday?

I think this is a scam because neither of them have actual Admin tags.

Nobody should send their UDID to the email address because this seems very fishy. If this is real, Azrael should confirm it here. Otherwise, don't do it.

The entire thing is fishy too. I could just say I have 2700 hours when, in reality, I have about 2600. It's also unnecessary because of account transfers. You're hours can't spontaneously disappear. Also there's a lack of Spar wins / losses and baddie and player kills. This whole thing seems weird. Not to mention, if this was serious, it'd be in the guild news in game.

Yeah, right. First of all, the website is made using Webs. Stefan's proven better at web developing than even THAT. Second of all, Xor wouldn't be paying for the website! I think! But it doesn't make sense to me that he would! And, tbh, Azrael doesn't strike me as the type to be demanding respect for his staff.

Humbug. They don´t need anything from you to backup your account. Some of you remember when they did changes with the account files like 1 year ago? They didn´t need anything from you and never your UDID. It´s a total scam.

They warned you NOT to give out your UDID and they will NEVER ask for it. And why should they create a new webside, if they could easily use graalians.com or the official forums?

Three words...DONT DO IT. This guy has no life ignore him! Pfft seriously. What he is trying to say is "HEY GIVE ME YOUR UDID I HACK YOU"

The site is a scam (everyone knew it). It looks real but, it isn't.. The contact emails gave it away. I wonder who put the site up...

So clearly a fake on the website, it says you have to send your udid details to a fake email :D someone try it out

knew it was fake, why would they need your info to backup your account when they can just see it? its all recorded, unfortunatly it seems not all of them have been banned.

this whole "xor covering website expenses" is another total tip off, Unixmad covers that kind of stuff, why would Xor be the one needing to pay for it?

the background and such doesnt even match the graal themes, and i doubt Stefan would set this up himself when he could do so much better at setting it up.

and the major give away? its not in the news. perhaps the vip transfer system should have been put down as soon as this was found out and kept down until it was sorted out so no acount scamming could take place.

LOLOLOLOLOLOL GraalOnline staff will never need to know your UDID. Our only use for that is upon login; we don't even personally check into it.
We would only need your PCID at most. =p

Anyway, the only GraalOnline support was taken down years ago, but it was located at http://support.graalonline.com.

Also, if you do fall victim to this fraudulent scam:

Get a transfer to another device. GraalSupport.com can use your UDID for multiple applications, not just Graal. Get your transfer as soon as possible, who knows when they'll strike against your account.

Might use UDID faker and spam them with UDIDs so they/he/she will loose interest in checking them all

Gotta give it to him, the site looked pretty convincing. I knew it was fake from the start, but I went to check it out. The Classic admins should probably send broadcast messages periodically to make sure no one gives out their device info to this scrub. Or post a news message.

Yeah, but Jellyfish exploited an SQL database bug and downloaded the whole email list and contact information from it.

It makes me a bit uneasy knowing that people might end up pming me today because they thought i scammed them. But you know its not really me because;

You'd be surprised how many people will get fooled by this. There are kids who play this game and their deductive skills of whether something is fake or not is usually not as efficient as the older ages. It's important to let them know.

Staff have access to all account data, so when we back it up, we don't need you to send us anything.

The site is hosted on a premium server run by Webs.com and I have already sent a report email to them. I think they have sent a notice/warning to whoever made the site, because it now says they are under "maintenance".

15 is old compared to 10, you can learn alot in 5 years. And blocking staff mames would be pointless because only a hacker would want to male that kind of impersonation, and hackers can well hack...

Fakers aswell.
