Pianos are now officially being sold at SnowTunes in Snowtown!

This will be a house and Guild House item. I think its great but the problem is that it's 50,000 gralats. I know its a rare item but thats just way to much.

I completely agree that it is way too expensive. Farming for that would take ages and iTunes costs like 23x the actual game. I know it's a unique item and all, but I really doubt a lot of people will be able to purchase it. Maybe 20,000 at the max, but I really think this is worth around 3,000-8,000 gralats.

It wouldn't do any good to change the price of the piano now, it wouldn't be fair to the people who bought it at 50k

Gralat pack 3 cost 7.99€ and has 27500 gralats so for 15.98€ (55000 gralats) you can buy the piano and 5k will stay in your acc
I saw on other online games (free to play) expensiver items...

There's plenty of hats and items you've resold and reduced the price for, why not this one? And can't a full refund be givin to people who bought it?

I agree with Simons. A refund would be good, up to the amount that it reduces to.

No. If you were stupid enough to buy it in the first place, you deserve the high price.

Just wait until they take a leaf out of Era's book and sell the level 3 sword for $90 irl.

I don't think it would matter. They've done it for several items at Nexus. One being the 30k dino dropped down to 10k.

I know this sounds silly but the piano is a bit expensive.... Atleast lower the price to 10k or something.

A Graal flute costs 7000 Gralats. A good flute in real life costs $3,500.

A Graal piano costs 50,0000 Gralats; however, a good piano in real life costs $160,000.

Based on this ratio, a Graal piano should actually cost 320,000 Gralats. :D

If you don't like the price, don't buy it. Go play on the organ in the church, or the piano in the Red Lamp Inn, or, even better, go buy one in real life! they sound much better and are easier to use.

I was shocked with the price too, but if people want to spend $20 on a virtual piano, go for it. Maybe in a year it'll go in Nexus for 5k. Or they'll sneak it in the Christmas gifts again. Basically, I think if you think you know you're going to be a long-time player, it's best to wait it out. Most likely, there's eventually going to be an opportunity for a lower price.

Sure they've gone back and sold items for cheaper than they came out as, Dino is prime example. The big thing is it would make many people unhappy if they reduced the price on the day of release and didn't give people a refund, which they have no way of seeing who would need a refund. Also, the piano isn't meant for every graal player, it was a rare item released for the Christmas presents, and I'm sure they want to keep it rare.

I don't understand why people believe that the price is going to be reduced later on. Everyone knew that the piano was going to be sold at a high price. You also seem to be ignoring that the items you're citing as examples were removed and brought back several months later at a lower price. Considering that the music shop only has only had the flute in the many months that it has existed in, I highly doubt that the piano is going to be removed from it.

You're not forced to buy the piano, there is a public one to use, and you can also play on other players' in their houses. Not a necessity, clearly a luxury item, and simply there if you want to purchase it.

Actually it's way more than that because 15$ can give you 45k.

I just think reselling items seems to be a typical pattern of iClassic; I mean that neutrally. The flute was in the Christmas gifts. The black and white hoods were in the Snowtown Mad Hatter for months before re-sold in Nexus and then removed. If the piano were to be resold for cheaper, players would seize the opportunity. I could picture players to even take it out their own time to buy an iTunes card, just for the sale. It just seems very probable.

Almost all of the games items are luxury, but none are sold as high as 50k. Also, the public pianos are always being hogged by people who refuse to move and continue playing. I really think it should be lowered despite the players who already bought it. They should have waited in case there was a price reduction.

Isn't it optional to buy it? No sense in complaining about something optional. I got one from Christmas, so I must be in the clear. ;)

If you really want to play a piano, just send me a message asking to play it. My house is always open and the piano is inside.

Refund the difference , and i dbout many people have even bought it yet.

I bought that stupid Xor mask for 20k like a year ago and it was sold for like 2k in Nexus, so I'm calling bs on this.

xor can go on and see who bought the pianos and give them a refund if the price was lowered. so if it was for example 4000 gralats he can give them a refund of 46000 :D

3. Three days later, the admins don't listen and you buy the piano regardless of price

I don't think many people will buy the item this time. We're talking $19.00 for a virtual item or weeks worth of farming. It would be nice to have the price lowered just enough so at least more players can actually afford it.

its a rare item. its a high price so not everyone has it. you do not NEED it. leave it as is

Not everything has to be sold as a rare item. It's nice to have items everyone can afford.

Theres a few others but i don't remember them.

But in honest opinion: Comparing this to a one dollar Piano App, the price difference of 18 bucks is very dangerous. This isn't a real Piano we're talking about: This is a collaboration of pixels with 1/4th keys of a Piano.

I've seen a few complaints on FaceBook but the admins are thinking about raising the price of the Piano even higher.. Thats a threat to be honest.

The reason no one is complaining about this is because half of them got it as free Christmas gifts... But we're looking at this from a New Player's perspective:

50,000 Gralats is too much for a Piano. I don't care if its supposed to be Luxury or not but thats really not fair. You're best off just purchasing the Flute and never have to go back to Snowtunes ever again

Oh this topic actually came up on the graal chat. As matt has answered while i was listening in its suppose to be a rare item even seeing it how it was only given to a handful of players from the christmas event it should remain to be rare and being able to have it would be of a great accomplishment. I can say that the piano is an outstanding item to have and should be accomplish by getting a high amount of gralats.

You're lucky to have the chance to buy it at all in my opinion

We're literally talking 19 dollars here for a Piano made of pixels and only has 1/4th of the keys of a real piano. I don't think that's luxury and I'm sure it's not going to be worth keeping in your house. If it's rare, then it should be on a one time sale like they did in Nexus.. But not for a crazy price like 50,000 gralats.

Rarity comes from the fact that it's never sold much anymore, never mentioned, and never spoke of. Regret's mask/hood and body, the red headphones, the muse Mask, and the black/white hoods (even though they were resold a couple of times) are all perfect examples of rare items..

This isn't rarity.. This is basically just Demanding cash now.
And I don't think Stefan was going to sell the piano for 50,000 gralats in the first place (if he is in charge of the prices)

I'm just waiting for a price cut in a couple of weeks/months. I'm sure it's gonna happen (just like all those who felt like they wasted alot of gralats and found it unfair about the price cut sale for the XOR masks)

To be honest, I would have taken the chance and buy it.. But not for 50,000 gralats. And this is a furniture item: I'm best off buying from whatever there is at red barn furniture instead. If the piano was more of a item (where you spawn it and play it, which would be funny yet pretty cool) then I would think it would be worth 50,000 gralats. But as a furniture item? I'd rather be best off hogging the red lamp inn/church piano

On topic: I think the price is fair (somewhat) based on the rarity that the Iclassic staff is tring to accomplish.

It's clearly meant to be a rare item.

Everything else on Graal may seem like a rare item, but it isn't! Spending five dollars per hat is now standard on Graal, and since everybody seems to do it nowadays those hats are common.

It's basically a race to see who can spend the most money. To rise to the top today it might cost $10, but as everybody rises to the top it'll start costing $15. Eventually you'll be paying $100 for the best of the best.

Enjoy the low prices while they last! In a few months / years you'll be wishing that the price was only $50,000 for ______.

The money is for unixmad and his bread but this is a other story...
