MSM's Guide to Hacker and Glitcher Protection
 

Hi. I have been hacked, or people have glitched in my house. If you want to protect your account from being hacked, or an item shop from being glitched into, follow these steps:



Hacking
1)First of all, no one should be hacking. If someone is trying to get your account, some signs of that are if they ask for:
-email used in in-game profile
-your UDID code (usually censored out)
-your pc# (your pc id)
-your IP Adress

2) Once they ask you for any of those, make sure to not respond, block them, and report them. If you have already told them these things, its ok. Just tell an admin that you gave a person your UDID. They might be able to help, but it might be too late.

Glitching

1)Glitching is bad, just not as bad as hacking. Glitching in a house consists of an item such as a barrel or box, used to get into an area. If you have an item shop, Put 4 potted plants. Put each in an area that there is a corner or a bend. Also, make sure to double cage up the entrance to get inside of an item shop.

2)Make sure you follow these rules, because an admin can not get your items back. And remember, scamming or drop trading is legal, so take caution.

Illegal Things

1)Some things on graal are illegal. Take precautions of these things. Some things that are illegal on graal are:
-Impersonating someone you aren't
-Asking to trade their item for an itunes card

2)If any of these things happen, tell an admin immidiately and report the person.



Follow all these rules, and you will be safe and happy on graal.

Impersonating administrators is illegal.
Not too sure about the second part.

If you report it doesent work for me they never jail as so they never cheek the reports.

You just have to ruin it for the hackers

Most reports do get checked. All admins are able to view reports in the RC so it's Likely one has seen it

Just apple might be able to help you through giving your device a new UDID (which they probably won´t do). Else all they can do is ban the hacker. He still will be able to use your UDID though.


Tip for further threads: if you want to center something, don´t use spaces. Use this (http://www.graalians.com/forums/imag...tifycenter.gif) tool instead in the advanced mode.

This hacking thing I have seen before, me and my friend were at my house and this person kept warping in and I didn't know what to do, he didn't steal anything but he scared the crap out of me.

Well once I got really scared because Rages* appeared in my house and I thought I did something bad but it was just he wanted to see the glitch I reported XD

I check reports, and I'm not even apart of the Player Relations team. =p

Most likely every admin reads the reports. As I pointed out in another topic the problem is, that most players abuse / spam / don't know the rules and report for legal stuff a lot. We also have to sort out various reports that are just created to annoy us...

Anyway... yeah. I love to scare people. <3 ;)

I like the tips, but after my experiences with MSM in game, I find it suprising that you'd be the one posting this in the first place.

What do i do? I know how to glitch and hack but i dont. i was recently banned though because Peter thought i was hacking, when i was just AFK.

someone hacked another one of his friends into my house but i have no idea how.

@peter5498 Its called Gamecenter you just add people then gamecenter invite the person you added into another person's house so if you get kicked ur friend can reinv you back there to barrel/box lag the house item shop.( way to prevent this: use ganghouse and close it)

@callimuc if your hacked do NOT get the hacker banned b/c when he logs into your account while he is banned you also get banned.

@msm if you have an item shop use the gray boxes that you can buy at the back of the map, lag proof! 100gralats

@msm if you give out ur udid your screwed (me), the only thing you can do is: dont buy furniture, customs, set up an item shop in ur house, buy a gang. The hackers can refund/sell back/take items/disband gang/transfer Gang.

@admins, if someones account is udid hacked the person can transfer the account that is hacked easily to another iDevice they own. Beware of this!

@udid hackers, you basically ruin the graal experence.

@msm you can impersonate anybody except admins

Nope.

Sounds like there is almost nothing more to do. Anyway, you can not drop items if you have UDID faker. So they can´t drop items.

TRUST ME ASK ANY ADIUM IF A HACKER IS BANNED THEN THEY LOG INTO YOUR ACCOUNT YOU GET BANNED ALSO

Nope. You just get banned, if the hacker logs into your account and goes on hacking with that (like grab hack, fake in app purchases and stuff). But if the hacker just logs in, you won´t get banned.

If a hackers is banned then they log into your account you get banned also... Ask any adium

Are you udid hacked? I think not

I used to hack with fake UDIDs. It´s the same.

You can´t while using your iPad. Except you will find any image hoster app where you can upload them (imgshack?)

Yes. callimuc is right. If the hacker is banned, and goes into your account, It depends what ban it is. If its an account ban, your account wont get banned. If its an IP ban, your account wont get banned either.

You can hide UDID faker and drop whatever you want.

The hacker was banned, he kept logging into my account during the ban, hence i get banned also. 4th time of this

HW and snk added a tutorial the first time you play era and in it you have to buy a gun that is $100(handgun) but it's $200 with udid faker so it's impossible to play regularly :/

Not sure if you just want to annoy or not. Read what I said. You will just get banned, if he keeps going hacking with your account. If he would just hack your account but wouldn´t hack anything, you wouldn´t get banned.

Most of the time you report someone as lordbryson has said they check it. Well they will probably not do anything about it cause there so lazy, its the same with asking questions the only admin that replies is tink the rest of them lets say their ******s Xp

Well, to me, Tink, Lavaclaw, Vendhin, Pix, Reno, Snake Rekon, Snk, and Froggy usually respond to me.

Here is your guide. Don't drop your items. Don't give personal info. Simple as that

i heard about working UDID changers/fakers, so IP bans are most effective but i know some IP protectors.... however some things in this guide make sense:P

IP bans are the most stupid ways to ban someone. It´s just good for idiots not knowing how to change them.

UDID isn't better,

Does a person who put (player relations) in his name, who's name isn't gold , Is screaming he is a admin, and saying that he will ban people if they don't believe him. Is that a punishable offence? I thought so.

Dude I reported a guy for screaming intimate words at the start point and lavaclaw came like four seconds later. And you probably don't have S*** on the player Relations.

See, now throwing names and insults around won't accomplish anything. Back youself up with factual evidence and you'll seem more credible. Also...it helps to learn the proper usages of they're, their, and there. :)
