Classic Halloween Submissions 2020!

As I'm sure you're all aware, it's spooky season, and you know what that means? Halloween Submissions! I'm sure most of you are aware how this works, but for those who don't, allow me to explain. This event will work just like the Christmas event, only there won't be 4 categories to theme your stuff as. Those of you whose submissions get accepted and put in-game will receive a reward of 10,000 gralats for more complex items (ex. hats, mounts, furniture. etc.) or 5,000 gralats for simpler items (ex. toys, food, etc.) AND your submission(s)! https://i.imgur.com/ev0zqA0.pngAll the player submitted items will be sold in the Candy Shop at Deadwoodhttps://i.imgur.com/ev0zqA0.png https://i.imgur.com/He3u54R.pnghttps://i.imgur.com/3iDdbJm.pnghttps://i.imgur.com/He3u54R.pnghttps://i.imgur.com/3iDdbJm.png We want you guys to submit the spookiest, scariest and, of course, most creative stuff you can come up with!! Of course, the same rules apply here as the Christmas submission and uploading rules which are as follows:
If you're interested in submitting content for this event, then upload your creations to an image hosting website (such as imgur.com) and email the links to [email protected]. Title the email "Halloween Submission" and include your Graal ID (which can be found in the feedback menu in-game). If you do not include your Graal ID you cannot receive your reward should your submission be accepted! ----------------------------------- For any templates you may need, click here The deadline for all submissions is October 25th, 11:59pm/23:59 EST Here is the VIP color palette for any base colors that you'd need so they match body colors Spoiler
Also here's a website where you can test certain items you've made! Made by our very own Dusty, it's really useful and even staff use it! This isn't strictly a forums event, though it would be best if said person checks out this thread to get all the information they might need. They don't need a Graalians account to be able to view this thread. Answer We would prefer you use an image hosting site, but if you absolutely don't want to do that and the files you send are either .png or .gif file formats, it would be fine. ----------------------------------- Question Can we color pick from existing items? (example: taking the orange from the pumpkins in-game) Answer That would totally fine, and a good idea for the sake of consistency! ----------------------------------- Question Would blood, organs and monsters be allowed? Answer I don't see any problem with that as long as it's not too over-the-top! It is Halloween, after all! Just keep in mind that a lot of kids do play this game, so as long as you follow the rules listed above you should be fine. ----------------------------------- Question Can we make hats that might look like accessories? Answer Anything that would be better made as an accessory wouldn't be accepted (ex. no glasses, scarves, backpacks, wings, etc.) ----------------------------------- |

Thanks for sending out confirmation emails because last Christmas was so stressful without them. You didn’t know if your submission got through or not and it resulted in messaging the person in charge of uploads and not always getting a response. Now I can rest easy knowing that if my hats don’t get accepted, they at least made it in.

It'll probably be a couple days before anyone hears anything about being accepted or not tho, we're all going to go through everything tomorrow and pick winners, so keep an eye out for the next few days. You should all be getting "submission was received" emails today tho if you haven't gotten any yet. |
Alright! I've gone through all the emails so if no one got any replies it's because whatever link you sent didn't work or we just didn't get it the email entirely.

Okay everyone, I've responded to everyone whose submissions were approved along with attachments of which submissions made it! If you didn't get an email then your submission probably didn't make it in. We got roughly 600 submissions and approved about 200 (including recolors) (; ‾▿‾)
Once the candy shop opens up everyone whose submissions made it will receive their gralats and the item(s) they made! Thanks for everyone who participated and I look forward to seeing entries when Christmas rolls around :D |
These open contests are so fun, thanks for taking the time to sort through our creations
Christmas is coming so fast already :o can’t wait to see everyone’s stuff, I plan to make a hat... as I’ve never made one before :D |
