Best Zelda Game

Which one is your favorite?

This isn't to ask which one if the most initiative but simply which one is the best. We're all aware that The Legend of Zelda is clearly the best because it led to the rest of the games, and Ocarina of Time is even better because it introduced 3D to the series, but which game is the most fun?

Twilight Princess was as fun as hell. One of my favorite games I played for the Gamecube. I also loved the boss battles for it.

Haha, I see what you did there. Anyways, I'd have to go with either A Link to the Past or the Ocarina of Time.

Super tie!

Wand of Gamelon.

Also, your missing a few...unless you don't count the Capcom Zelda games.
Even so, your missing the DS games and four swords.

Edit: How the hell did you also miss Link's Awakening? >: [

Twilight Princess haves more votes than Ocarina of Time.
You are all hopeless.

Twilight Princess was a really good game. I don't see whats wrong with liking TP over OoT.

OoT isn't my absolute favorite Zelda, altho it is one of my favorite.

Tricxta 02-20-2012 08:21 AM

Oracle of seasons was the my most favoured.

Ocorina of time was quite amazing but to me TP was that and then some on a better engine and a more emotional storyline

Crono 02-29-2012 11:09 PM

OoT.

John 03-01-2012 12:02 AM

Wind waker you get your own island and boat.

MattKan 03-01-2012 12:25 AM

Ocarina of Time is fun. TP is too serious and yeah.

What we need is a zelda game for the Wii U using Skyward Sword's graphics (but the same map concept as Ocarina of Time) that allows you to fully explore the entirety of Hyrule.

Dusty 03-01-2012 12:56 AM

TP's biggest flaw was being linear and insanely boring forced wolf segments and overall fluff. Then again most of the later generation Zelda's suffer from all of those things as well. OoT was the perfect balance between giving players freedom and yet not making them feel lost.

Yephenpeace 03-01-2012 03:25 AM

Wind Waker is my favourite. <3

The GBC games are better than Minish Cap. Minish Cap is good, and I enjoyed it thoroughly... but overall it's a fairly compact experience. Short and linear. However the concept to grow was great, and so much side stuff with the kinstones. On the other hand the kinstones were a pro/con sort of thing. I love how much content there was, but farming kinstones just to TRY to remember every single NPC you ever traded with was a pain in the ass. Atmosphere in Minish Cap was top-notch though.

Skyward sword. So linear i stopped playing 2/3's of the way in. First zelda game i never completed after i started playing. :/

MattKan 03-15-2012 04:22 AM

Skyward Sword > Ocarina of Time

IMO

But it had its issues. It was too straight forward and has absolutely no replay value whatsoever.

iPoptart 03-18-2012 04:33 AM

I like majors mask because of the emotional aspect to it, especially the Anju and Kafei Quest. I also enjoyed the vast majority of the songs. Along with the massive ammount of rewarding side quests, the thing that was cool about them was that they didn't end when you completed them and their rewards would lead on to new quests. But my favorite part... The masks, how I loved the masks especially the transformation ones.
