New Guild System (Phase 1) Released
Today we are releasing the first phase of our long-awaited Guild System reform. This release brings a number of quality of life changes including an increased member limit, new guild control panel packed with new features, genuine guild alliances and a fully revised guild chat system. All of the changes are explained in the Help sections of the guild menu. For a full list of features see below.
• We have expanded the guild membership limit to 50 players. • Guild messages have been reworked and are now a persistent chat room with history feature. New recruits only see history from the time they join. • Ally messages are a separate room, with its own chat button, that is shared between the allied guilds. • The Guilds menu section has been changed from a list to a button format. Guilds that you are a part of are now displayed as their own button with their guild logo used as its icon. • Every guild now has its own 'Control Panel' and guild management features have been split up into their own sections. Players are unable to use the Control Panel features until they are wearing the guild tag. • The old 'guild profile' has received some visual improvements and is now presented as a Guild Charter. New guild information is included on this, such as the guild formation date, guild interests and main language used within the guild. Guilds can customize some of these new options in their Settings. • Guild logo uploading has been made more user friendly, enabling players to zoom and position their logo prior to it being sent for staff approval. The time limit for uploading logos on approval/denial has been removed; guilds are now limited to 10 logo uploads per-day instead. • Guild members are now displayed in grid format as part of the Guild Roster. Members are sorted by rank and then by join date, ensuring the leader is positioned first. Rank names are shown under nicknames and a range of temp sorting features can be applied. Online indicators are included, with a shield shape representing players who are wearing the guild tag. • Guild member profile information has new data such as how long a member has worn their guild tag, when they were last on guild tag and who recruited them to the guild. • All guilds have predefined ranks set by default. New recruits are set as "Apprentice", who can then be promoted to "Member". At present there are no differences in these ranks outside of their names. The next level is "Officer" who can recruit and remove people from the guild, which is followed by the Leader. • Guilds are now able to ban players from joining their guild. This can be done through their profiles. A list of banned players can be found in the guild Roster. • Guilds can once again create alliances with another guild, but they must have 25 members or under to do so. Guilds can request an alliance with another, and once approved, they will share a new charter with information specific to the alliance. All of the old alliance features, such as shared chat, visual indicators and being unable to hurt each other exist within this system. • Guild membership applications is a new feature, where guilds can open up their recruitment in their Settings and players can apply to join through their Charter. The Requests section houses all requests to join and requests to form an alliance. When a new request is received a notification is sent out to members with access to manage such requests. • There is now a section which handles all guild Settings, such as charter information and recruitment-related customizations. The means in which ranks are displayed have also been given its own option, letting players disable ranks in nicknames or pick how they are presented. A button to reset all settings back to their defaults can be found at the bottom of the list. • There is a new button specific to leaving a guild. Guild leaders will no longer be able to disband their guild without first removing other members. • All features are explained in the revised Help section of the guilds menu, which includes information that a player of any level might need to know. All user decisions such as kicking members, promoting members, ending an alliance, disbanding a guild, etc have been given a confirmation window. But we're not done there. Keep an eye out as more features are on their way! |

Currently dealing with some server lag, working on resolving. We may restart the server in the process.
|
good stuff for phase 1
is there a time we can expect future phases yet? or can you not answer yet |
awesome work guys! the hard work paid off
|
SEE I TOLD EVERYONE IT WOULDCOME OUT AUGUST I WAS RIGHT
|
Cool
|
Finally NGS drops. Been waiting for this thing for years
|
im gonna cry. just restart the serverrrr
the lag is actually unbearable so restart is better @fp4 |
So basically guilds have more security cuz graal is full of idiots that can't trust each other. Well played fp4 ;). I still appreciate this cuz it's definitely work done.
The relevancy (towering, sparring, GST) hasnt been accounted for at all but i guess work is work |
Idk man we just gonna have to see. Right now, the servers are too laggy to judge the NGS atm

Other than just letting 2 separate guilds come together, is there any benefit to choosing to do an alliance rather than expanding one’s own guild?
|
I like it but I'd like to see the old alliance system brought back or a variation of it, allow more than one allied guild and don't limit it to only for guilds with less than 25 members. Larger guild chains with large rosters were pretty fun, keeping it to 50 kinda kills that
|
I love it good job FP4
|
Old guilds with very loyal people are the only ones who are gonna prosper for the next forseeable months i bet.

|
well it was until it started glitching out ..
|
will we be able to properly change the Officer Member and Apprentice ranks?
|
I would like to say thank you for all the developers and scripters who worked hard to complete this project and release the NGS phase 1. It’s super good for phase 1 only and i’m exciting to see the rest of the phases. I will give feedback if there is any to be given later tomorrow. How many phases is there? Also, what will phase 2 be about? The reward system?
Anyways goodjob Foulplays4 and whoever helped him. Good work Edit: how doI transfer leadership to someone? |
how long are we expected to wait for ‘phase 2’

New Guild System
New NGS has finwlly been released. I like the amount if settings. everything appears good so far. whats everyones feedback
|
after searching through everything:
positives: 50 members, reintroduction of allies, applications. HUGE negative: seems to be no way to assign rights to players now besides give them “officer” rank. in the guild (Farmers Club) the leader has been offline forever and i lost the power to kick others as a result of this update. the new rank/power assignment system is a massive downgrade and i can’t understand why this would be changed this way. edit: nvm just seems like there is absolutely no way to kick anybody from your guild unless there’s this deep menu option i’m missing out on, should fix this asap |

I have created a verified alt account 40m ago and gave leadership of my guild to it. Now i’m trying to promote any player to officer by going into roster then clicking on a player however, as u cansee from the two images eventho i’m the leader the “more actions” option is replaced with “view profile”
Edit: only top 3 players don’t have the “more actions” option when I click on them including my main account which is in the image example. But when I click on the rest of the player I can see the more actions option. Is it some type of bugs? |

Pls reduce member limit of towering guilds to 25. ty

Some interesting choices, for sure...
-I like the consolidation of the interface between a guild you run and a guild you're a member in. -Having options just 'greyed out' is cool - did you experiment with just making them not appear? -The way the system has been set up is cleaner in general, which is also good. Not so many extraneous windows to go through in order to get to a specific function. -Allies seems... curious... but I suppose we'll get to understand when we see more about it later. -I like the icons for 'guild interests' but wish there were a few more added to the list. Spoiler
-I'm not sure if it's the immense lag, but looking up members of guilds (your own or others') seems glitchy still. -I see that the new system still uses the old menu format, which is disappointing; the blue/white background menu system gui does not match the game's look and feel at all anymore. maybe im crazy but i cant figure out how to promote members or kick members
|

if you are leader of the guild: any player who previously had any powers whatsoever will get the “view profile” option within “roster” rather than “more actions” where you would find the promote/kick buttons. so you can kick and promote players, but anybody who had powers pre-update is invincible. if you are not leader of the guild, but previously had powers, and leader has not edited your rank: “view profile” shows up on every player, you can’t kick anybody. if you are not leader of the guild and you were made officer: “view profile” shows up on players who had powers pre-update, ability to kick any others. edit: members who had powers pre-update, along with being untouchable, are unable to kick or recruit players, but can change the guild news? lol |
1. I dont tgink the chatroom system of Guild Chat really suits tbh. Its hard to check gc now when towering than jist quickly viewong the pms. Please revert back to the old gc system. OR MAKE IT OPTIONAL PLEASE IM BEGGING YOU DONT FORCE ME TO USE THIS CHATROOM STYLED GC ITS TERRIBLE I WILL NEVER SHUT UP :(
2. Anyone else having isssues? 3. Also This ally system ismt very fair |
I like the inclusion of a history log for guild chat. Nice touch.
|
Searching has been re-enabled.
I admit our adjustment to rights/ranks is a 'downgrade' as it stands right now but will be significantly improved in one of our next phases. Will go through and respond to the other feedback during the day tomorrow. |
more bugs:
-when zoomed out, a little head icon (your head) is appearing near the top left of the screen, relogging fixes it. i'm assuming it has to do with the new guild chat icons. -map button keeps going on and off the screen -either guild chat or the map button or a combination of both seems to cause a ridiculous amount of lag over time to the point where you are forced to relog to make the game playable. |
How many phases will there be?
How long can we expect for the next phase and any estimate on how long the intervals are for each phases? Any hint towards what the towering rewards will be? |
Enable to view other guild charters when im not wearing the tag

Anyone on PC feel like the menus are significantly laggier now? This all looks like pretty good groundwork for the eventual gameplay updates though
|

quick fix for now is to switch to a different tag, type whatever you want in the guild chat, switch back to previous tag beats reloggin |
I do like the guild chat concept, also the 50 guild member thing is nice as well. However I don't at all understand exactly why the 2 guild thing with alliance... I mean it's basically the exact same thing. 25 members each except there is two leaders. Kinda kills the entire point of having an ally in my opinion when you're literally better off just not having an ally it seems...
Also, The guild borders, is that permanent or? They just look kinda ugly, and don't suit for graal's style. Seems like an Era thing. As for everything else I kind of like a lot of the features though I cannot deny it definitely needs some work. Everything seems jammed packed right now and messy |

I feel like it would be better to set “show members’ rank in nickname” to “off” by default, this makes it viable to use guild tags in which the leader is inactive or they have quit, without the “apprentice” rank.
|
Can’t recruit or kick people anymore on my mau5trap tag even though i have an “officer” rank. Is it supposed to be this way? Other than these issues, the new layout and the 50 guild member limit is a nice improvement.
