Prize Hat Trade Up's?
 

Okay, so quite a while ago maybe about a month or so.I had asked a staff member (i don't really want to use names but "its" been around for about 2years) i had saw him just chilling and i decided to ask "it" if i could trade up one of my many hide and seek hats for a requested one. I asked if i could trade one for the "gangsta" hats "it" had quickly replied "i cant give any of these out yet, however keep your eyes peeled in stores =] ." so i didn't bother "it" anymore but then i was thinking, it wasn't a no directed at the trade up, it was directed at that hat. So i stopped thinking about it for about 3weeks. then a staff member did hide and seek. i had already had the hat but i still played anyways. i found her pretty fast and explained i already had that hat. she was gregarious enough to give me one i didn't have, next round comes along. found her, and i had thought okay, shes ganna give me one i don't have. so i had asked. "may i please have the paper hat aka hat42. (wish i had a pic) as another staff member was beside her he set the hat he said "okay" then stopped, he then asked me. "when was this on iclassic?'' i knew it wasn't. "but i knew 3 people that had it." i told him. he then said something that made me wonder. "if you can't prove it wasn't on this server then we cant give you it." i wondered how on earth was i suppose to prove it? so i got naacks hat and then they where gone and that was the end of that event. i still know the 3 people that have the hat. so i had asked 1 where did he get his from? He then replied. "sorry if it is anything hat related i cant talk about it." i doubt he was staff. although he had a lot of hats that wheren't available and i will not name him due to the fact i may or may not get someone into trouble. then i had remembered i had a very odd hat that was a "custom" prize given to me on my 20th hide and seek win. i had asked if he had it, he said " actually no i don't have that :P" i had asked around if anyone had it. so far i cant find anyone with it... (its a tree) so. my question scene the trade up idea wasn't complitly a no per-say can i trade up this hat i have yet to see anyone with for another hat that i have seen a few people with (hat42.png)?

I got no clue what the heck you are talking about. The quote marks are getting me confused aswell.

All I can say is that if you already had the hats, it´s your bad. Admins also wont/are not allowed to trade hats. It doesnt matter if you already got the hat, bought a hat on accident or whatever.

yeah. although i do like having one nobody has, id glady switch it out for my favorite hat ever. ^_^

i dont literally mean "trade" more like a swap out. dont get me wrong im sorta glad i have a hatt nobody has, but my favorite hat is one i have seen a few people with. and although nobody has this its kinda ugly... id much rather have a hat that isnt to rare that i like, then somthing i dont really like that nobody has.

Are you talking about swapping hats with a staff for another hat? If that's what this is about I don't think that's possible.

Okay, i dont mean literally trading or swaping i mean going into RC taking away this hat nobody has, for the one requested. I do not mean literally saying o ill trade you. :sarcastic:

I gues he thinks that giving/taking hats to/from players is controled by using RC.

So you want to switch a hat for another hat because the other one has more rarity? Corect me please, but everyone could say he want to switch hats if they think its not rare enough. I thought staff is already giving out other hats if you find them and its quite bold to wish which hat you want as well. Dont search them if you already got the hat.

The only reasion i am willing to swap this is because im tring to make it sound like its a mistake i got this thing in the first place. I really dont understand why i got this, it was my 20th hide and seek win but why this thing of all things? Why not just something i want/ have seen before? :rolleyes:

I was just ganna take a shot in the dark with that one because i know it controls invantory so i figured a hat would be an invantory item. (at least for an iserver)

I just want to correct this once more. I am not trading a hat for a rarer one, im trading a rarer hat for a simple one purely based on the fact its my favorite and i wasnt on iclassic at the time it was released given or whatever.

Highly doubt they'll let you do this.

You have 28 hide n seek hats... I think its about time you give other players a chance at winning.

Even getting a hat you could not get because you have not been playing iClassic at that time is no fair. Deal with your hat´s and let others win aswell. Be lucky about the rewards you got right now.

it's not my fault i find it very easy to win hide and seek :rolleyes: and now its 30 sence posting this thread. :smile:

Why should he? It's a competition. My friend Andy has a lot of hide and seek hats too.

I agree with him on that. If someone has that many hide and seek hats I think they should allow other players a chance of winning. I know it's not a set rule or anything, but I would allow other players a chance. I'm not saying like take a break from all the hide and seeks, but maybe just one or two once in awhile.

WooHoo. Ill trade some of my "rare" hats for other hats because i havent played Graal when they got released. Why i want to do this? Well, im jealous because someone has a better hat then myself. Ill try to cheat admin with

Theres competition and then theres just being a d****e about it...

how so, its a event of these three, time, position, and speed of a good router. plus i seriously doubt, 1/3 per round is making it that hard. also if your to think someone is that bad of a person for wining a event, then maybe you shouldnt play them at ALL. :blush:

yeah i do, its becausee hide and seek is very easy for me, :\ wish there where harder event's

Lets assume there 5 people like you... Admins give out 9 hats 3 per rounds and 3rounds... That means only 4 are left.. ? And yeah i have a 0 lag router my latency isnt ever above 20ms ? But on the upside... I can now do this if o ever wanna trade hats

still 4 more winners, there is +10% of wining the event atlest once :rolleyes:

what do you want me to do about it? make a thread about how to win hide and seek? if it helps people / get them off my back i would gladly.

Yes it would and well there is 3 h&s hats i would GLADLY give up being on the Nal 5k list for :/ because i couldnt ever rps an admin and i never leave towers to find chests and i rarely have the luck to get on during h&s

i've rps'ed fp4 about 2-3 times when it first came out. so i didn't reseve a hat. nor do i know if you can rps a staff member for a hat, but anyway. if its worth enough that i post it, ill probly start taking pictures and have it up by later today or tomorrow. :smile:
