Yo why mess with the Economy. Unhappy Decisions
Yo staff, why did you need to mess with the furniture. Like wtf, i can only sell something for 10 gralats now lol? You already decreased loot pricing and bugsyou messed with too. Lets not forget gralat spawn rate but why the furniture and refund options?. Sure idc if u took away upload refunds. But seriously why can't i sell my furniture now.
I'm a paying customer, you make over $100 U.S Dollars off me per year JuSt FoR ClAsSiC because im happy with what you've been doing. But come on, these decisions you're making aren't benefitting your laying customers. YoU'rE SupPoSeD tO mAkE mE HapPY nOt tHe OpPoSiTe. Cut the dumb decisions. Sure they'll make you more money, lol but you are gonna make less money off your actual supporters. Market Experts suggest you should make your customers enjoy spending money on the game. This is the complete opposite. I enjoy spending money for gralats for your holiday and seasonal items. I've started buying less and less hats because you aren't making me very happy with your seasonal and holiday items or your development work on the game. So i've started spending less. Sure this thread might be a rant but its still a wake up call to you. Everyone else, what else are you unhappy about. |
Hey, look on the bright side. I can no longer regret selling my 50k piano for an upload, only to buy another 50k piano in a month because I got paid and missed my piano :(

Having experienced the multiplying furniture effect glitch myself, I’m pretty glad that it’s nerfed for now
|
What baffles me is why there isn't just a separate record of every player's furniture that only gets edited/changed when making purchases or selling... this would prevent 'lag' from doubling or tripling furniture - the system I envision would check against the record upon placement of objects n the level, but not edit the numbers?
What we have currently seems to be a single-record system that actually removes and adds furniture to your inventory on purchase/resale and placement/restore. Seems foolhardy when the placement and restoring of furniture causes these and other issues. And don't get me started on 'upload tokens' :/ |

All options of re-selling furniture; as well as making gralats via looting, bug catching, etc. Have all been nerfed in wake to the soon to be released Player-to-Player item trading.

Classic prove me wrong |
Fp4 stated the furniture thing was temporary.
But would it really ******* surprise me if they lied like they usually do and make it an excuse to make people buy gralats. I mean seriously i spent 2 minutes chasing a butterfly today only to learn it was worth 17 gralats, I could have literally dropped 1-3 bombs in a grass area in my GH and got that and more. Is there any point at all in but catching? They changed the furniture resell because furniture duplicates. But thing is I don't think you can even duplicate it at will. |

Also. The game keeps an in-app purchase log. OK I bet theres a transaction log too? Couldn't you just ban someone for doing these glitches like come on? the game should be logging something or some kind of transaction history. I do apologize for my replies if they seem all over the place lol. I can't really think right now and I might just be saying things :( |

And they could ban anyone who does it. I'm sure, but they can't because it doesn't seem to happen deliberately. Take for example me. I literally had 1 magic bookself from snowtown. It somehow randomly duplicated another bookselfs and I didn't even have it out, Was in storage. I just enter my guild house and there a new one is just right on the ground. No idea how it got there. Now I got like 15-17 of them.and I only paid for 1 |

As much as 3 or 4 years ago this was already going on. I had only ever purchased one bomb vendor... and it randomly duplicated. I reported it. Ignored the issue.
Since then, there's been tons of things that have just randomly popped up in my inventory, including but not limited to swimming pools, slides, and (most expensive) a key block. I've reported it every time. No one took the time to make any change... and the important part is even though there's a timer on the placement/deletion of objects now, it still happens from time to time. The timer is not a solution, any more than shrugging your shoulders and nerfing resale prices is. |

like i remember that one time long ago, and thought it was patched. |
I have a small theory on how it happens. But it isn't solid it's just based on experience. Placing the furniture you'd have to duplicate on the ground when the server is extremely laggier than usual, It seems to duplicate that way though it isn't always assured to happen. I just know I tested and made another bookshelf from that method. But as I said this is not a solid theory. It only works like 1 out of 5 times but still.
Also like 4-Lom said which is kinda the biggest issue with my theory. You can just randomly get items into your inventory, I experienced this with a random nexus spaceship thing appearing in my inventory. Keep in mind I never purchased this item. Ever |
Why are they even doing this tbh I mean the gralat spawn and the bugs and loots not the furniture thing cause you can kinda glitch the items and sell them, I think?

Trying to force people to buy gralat packs by pinching income sources or devaluing the objects we've already paid for with the assumption that they would have some intrinsic value at a later date.
The actual problem, however, is lack of a clear monetization strategy in general. This has been a problem for the game as long as I've been here... there's no clear motivation other than impulse purchasing and the (rather frowned upon ethically) drive to complete collections on a time limit. Enough of using the stick, guys. Start using carrots. Give players select benefits for purchasing packs. Give them freebies. Prize Draws for players who have purchased a pack in the last 6 months. Give them special discounts on stuff. Give them a player experience where they feel that they're special for contributing instead of punishing them for not doing so, dangling objects with a massive price tag in front of their nose. There's a ton of games that have systems completely devoid of any in-game bonus for making in-app purchases without making players feel like they've missed out because they haven't spent any money on an event. It's a delicate art. |
