So management of this site has changed and all... but whats gonna happen in the future? Is anything gonna be done to stop this forum from dying out? Is it gonna be advertised on graal? What are the plans for this forum

I doubt much, they’ll likely continue way it is and adding ol west delteria themes.
I guess upto server managers if they want to get more players here on forum for adding a link or something.

These backgrounds most likely won't be coming, and if they do they won't be from the same artist or in the same style as the others.

Sorry to disappoint and I know I said they would be made but due to unforseen circumstance that's no longer going to happen, I apologize to anyone who was expecting them.

Unixmad/Darlene might be planning on having them made, but until they say so there is no further plan to have these backgrounds designed.

Graalians went from being unofficial to official. As usual, change is often met with people in agreement and disagreement. Everyone is concerned about the future of the forum regardless.

I don’t see any difference in-terms of activity in forums. It’s always been like this, few threads/posts were made daily and that’s it. Of course in the past Colin used to close his eyes when he reads his friends posts but delete all the un appropriate posts from other people. Now in every thread page there is like 10 deleted posts lol. Colin’s moderation isn’t any better but I rather see 1/2 deleted posts in a whole thread than having 4/5 deleted posts in one page lol.

They’re too strict, in most forums they sometimes ignore some posts even if they break the rules, that’s because it’s not very necessary to delete them. Now if u say “****” ur post gets deleted lol.

Well most of my 'friends' aren't on the spectrum and can control their posting habits unlike some of the people you're talking about with 'un appropriate posts'.

But also Crono is my BFF and he told me to kms daily for deleting his posts so :sarcastic:

The forums die. Graal dies. It's just about when the next big thing comes out (GraalVR lul) that it changes.

I got motion sick from VR. That would never work. Nintendo tried something similar to VR with a device just like the VR but a mario game. You couldn't play for more than 15 minutes before damaging your eyes lmao

Nintendo messed that up before they even started, those red and black hues weren't smart, may as well flash lasers straight onto their eyeballs.

VR games are slowly growing momentum, but I really doubt that Graal would step in that direction considering their current format is working and simply because it would probably take a lot of time (and baguettes) to actually build into it.

I am astonished that this forum went from being a thriving hub of graal fans to being... an official forum that is run by the same people that, well, ran graal. Or didn't run it, for what it's worth.

Murky communication from above, or worse, simply no communication when you'd hope for expect for it. Dead-lines and promises blown right by, what little are given.

This is my opinion, but I base it on years of experience with graal. I have been here nearly 20 years, and it always seems like the moderation from the upper echelons has been poor.

Darlene, if and when you read this: you do an excellent job in general, but you work with an organization than shirks its duties to its customers and, more importantly, its life-long fans.
