Every time I speak with someone who played Graal in its early days, I end up having a conversation about what it was like and recalling super old memories.

I don't have most of my screenshots from 2010-now, but share yours :blush:

theyre from when iclassic was under development

fourth is december 2009

OMG in 2008 I had 5 years

The first one I thought was interesting not because Skyld is on a roof, but because the old horse icon was its head.
We used to only hunt for 50 eggs.
People would group up and show off their common morphs and stuff.
In Club Crypt, there would be NPC ghosts that turn you transparent and a different color.

I think this is the original iClassic overworld. We were told to keep it very small because of iPhone limitations.

No idea here, either. It seems to be right after I won that hat in an event, at least judging by the screenshots around it. Looks like Andy is in there as well.

There were a few other screenshots like that. I found a screenshot of a CTF leader board with Mashboyellis on it - at the time I had no idea who he was, but I hired him as a GP over a year ago.

I didnt realize that there was a golden pot of gold. I have the Witch's Brew from some Halloween which is a black version of that pot, and then bubbling, green liquid instead of gold coins

Why was this tileset switched out to the one that iClassic was released with?

Nope just didn't want it to look too similar to LttP. Can't look at the original iClassic tileset and say it looked better than pics1.

I like the newer tileset, Well I guess it isn't "new" now but the one now. The only thing I liked better was probably the cliff or hill sides like around water and the mountains. Was more detailed and rocky. The only thing that bugs me with the updated tileset is the trees. They look so tropical with the leaf patterns and coloration. That part has never made sense to me why Classic decided to put a bunch of tropical trees around. But it is video game logic I guess lol. I would've honestly switched them out with the newer Nexus trees. Ill post a screenshot below. Feel like they would just fit much better in a graphic sense. But overall even though the old tileset is nostalgic i can agree the newer tileset is better, and looks more unique.

That was literally the worst part of the tileset...
