Furniture Resale Prices, really?
1 Attachment(s)
wth is this?
Attachment 25085 In previous years, selling furniture from christmas gifts gave a decent amount of gralats. Beds could be sold for 800-1200g; chairs and tables gave 200-600g. The resale gralat value was a great tradeoff for unwanted furniture from gifts. Why are we suddenly getting nothing for these? That's worse than getting christmas cookies. No one needs 20 red striped beds. The furniture that comes from the capsule machines has the same problem. I pay a couple hundred gralats for a lottery item -- get a furniture piece that I really didnt want -- am only able to resell it for 1g?? Why is it not 50% of the original price? |
Wow really. I wonder what happens when we all hit the maximum furniture limit with items worth 1 gralat.
|
Stock market. Maybe wait 3 more years and it will go up to 100 resell price.
|
The thing that gets to me most about it is the retro-active pricing on the original items that were once NOT 1 gralat. I have a whole bunch of furniture that was originally worth 500-1000 on resale that has just been reduced. No warning. No intimation that there was a restructuring... straight out theft of value with the intention of doing so secretly.

this. I was pretty disappointed as well what a ripoff
|
Basically buying a gift for 700 gralats and my friend ends up getting 1 gralat lol
|
I'm happy with the fact we only get one gralat.
The reason being is because it discourage you from selling it. So if your like me who always buys cool looking Nexus furniture and then sells it the week after in need of gralat you don't regret it. While no one may regret selling Christmas items, It does something in the terms of giving you a actual furniture item because there doesn't seem to be too many ordinary players with decorative houses. Basically only see the common house loving people like 4-lom with stuff neatly decorated in their house. Although in my opinion if admins actually just looked at the furniture prices, Does get slightly ridiculous considering not every player can spend money or has money to spent at any second on a game. So it is virtually unrealistic to somehow get that 20K item in Nexus or multiple furniture items. |

Just noticed too what an absolute **** move, I had like 8 rudolph plushies stashed over the years (sold for 1250 each) for if I got broke one day, well im broke now and they just changed it to 1g
|
Not gonna lie, it was like insult to injury when I went to sell a pet modeled after an admin who doesn't even like me and it came up as 1 gralat

what was the point of this move?
I can understand why pk mobs were disabled, why the amount of spar rooms were cut down on, and other iclassic developer changes, but why this? furniture only resold for 50% of the price. theres no reason to make me basically unable to sell a elf chair i dont even want. I can understand the concept that graal wants money, but how much money could they really lose out on from some dude selling a rudolph plushie for 1250g? even worse, just like the new guild system, they just randomly took it out and didn't say anything. No warning like "Hey, we will be dramatically lowering our furniture resell prices soon." even worse then that, people who were saving furniture to sell in an emergency or had items already purchased with the thought in mind that they could resell if anything, no longer can resell if anything. classic has made a lot of garbage moves, but this is up there among the stupidest ones. what happens to players that want to build houses and have to put down a bunch of extra crap they dont want because its better then selling it? This means that a friend who gifts me a gift for 700 gralats gets me a furniture item in return (i dont decorate my house) that i dont even want, and is worth 1 gralat. The point of the capsule machine 1g resell price was probably to prevent people from getting a table for the 500gralat spin and selling it for 250, (which means more spins) but they could have just lowered it down to 100. They also didnt have to make ALL other non shop furniture 1g. We've dealt, accepted and adapted to the NGS situation, the servers, and all the other crap the game puts us through, so why cant we sell our stupid elf chair for 500 gralats? Why do you guys insist on making things as bad as possible? Is your plan to make the game so terrible that everyone quits and servers dont have to work so hard? |

I appreciate that you're responding here, but I have 'bat' furniture items from a couple years back which have been added to the candy grab bags that no longer have their value. Additionally, more than 60 'bone' furniture items from when they were originally released with a resale value of about 1k each. I have multiple christmas items from previous years (which I checked when I realized this was happening) that are suddenly valued for resale at 1 gralat, which originally ranged from roughly 500 - 2500 each. When there's a 1 gralat resale on capsule machine stuff, I'm alright with that. Even if old versions of items that are no longer available except through annual events, that's ok. But when items that I've paid full price for or received at a higher rate are no longer able to sell for half price, it's pretty lame. Quote:

If I sold all of this i'd probably have enough money to get a new turtle fence

Since gashapon machine sell back is trash, why don't we make it so once you "win" a piece of furniture you can buy as many as you want without the RNG?

At the end of the day the game has to make money and I'm sure everyone earning thousands of gralats from gifts they got for free from other players kind of limits the amount of gralat packs they may purchase around this time of year. One Christmas I was elated to see that I could sell enough of my useless furniture to buy a custom head or body. What normally costs $4 for a custom body or $8 for a custom head was free. I do disagree with Christmas items from previous years being marked down to one gralat (not sure if that's the case though). If the option was available to sell for hundreds of gralats for those furniture items they should stay that way because the rule wasn't implemented at the time the presents were opened.
