Free Day
 

There should be a free day on either the December 31st or January 1st to celebrate New year's eve/day. Start off the year with a fresh new supply of graal items am i right?
So I'm thinking of making EVERYTHING free just for this one day that I would call "Free Day". Free everything, even those that are banned!

What makes you think that making every item free is a good idea, just seems to me you can’t afford gralats/ too lazy to try and earn them. zzz

Don't get me wrong. There's nothing wrong with free stuff but think about it. A single day with every item free would be terrible. We already have Black Friday which lasts quite a while and you have plenty of time to farm for the items you want during that time.

Anyway, a few issues with this would be:

• Everyone would have everything.
  
• No one would buy anything throughout the year because they would just wait for that one day.
  
• People would use it to make money buying lots of furniture and then selling it a day later because sell prices would revert once this "Free Day" is over.

I can't think of anything else right now and there's probably a lot more others could list. From my point of view you're someone who wants to have everything in life without putting in any effort to earn it.

Simply put, no, this won't happen.

I've been a player for a very long time, the last time I've seen an item for "free" was years ago, probably 2011 or 2012. You can't just make the entire world of Graal have free items, read what Green posted above for example. It would also be incredibly unfair to those who paid actual money, or farmed their way to earn these items. If anything were to happen, they'd release a hat that costs 1 Gralat, and keep it that way for a week or so while it's available to purchase, but as meantioned earlier, this hasn't happened in years. The closest it has come to that is the 500 gralat hats we've seen recently, or the current pins in the Onnet store for example.

Hopefully you can see and understand why this won't ever happen.

how about this:

Everything is free for the day but depending on the item there are stocks.

For example a hat would have like 15-10 in stock (for free) while say an expensive mount could have 1-2 in stock.

It'd cause riots but it'd be funny, would have to be a one time thing or randomized so people don't camp out places

I guess I can kinda see exactly why you would suggest this. You thought it would be pretty cool to have free items- but at the same time, all the other players are getting those exact items, which would make them pretty worthless if you ask me. It's really equivalent to the items, and hats you start with when you first begin playing. BUT GOOD TRY BUD

It sounds good, but this would undermine the hard work other players have put in to buying those items which are now "free". I know I would be mad if I wasted 80,000 gralats on a mount only to find another player got it for one gralat lol. My vote is a "No."

At the very least, maybe the admins could give players more than one gift? And maybe have the gifts guaranteed to have a good item inside?

Thanks for the feedback but everything in the game is worthless now, except pking/bking/winning a gst hat. In fact, everything you buy, the likelihood of you using that item everyday is like 1 in a million.

Then why does it matter if we get everything for free?

I spent 10 or 20,000 on items a few years back for halloween - the bat furniture set. This year it showed up in the candy grab bags. That's ok. Not so bad.

The kicker was that now the ones that I paid full price for are lumped in and only resell for 1 gralat each. I would have made some 5-10k off reselling them, but no. I don't get even HALF the money back that I spent and now have multiples of all these furniture items I only bought one of. Who the hell needs 3 bat-themed grandfather clocks?

Not necessarily, it rather educates people to waste money on something better in their lives. I'd rather eat an $85 chocolate Godiva box than spend 80 bucks trying to win Crab chance or the slot machines(Dragons). And I think I even made a thread about the lack of luck in the slot machines one time.

If there's one good thing about this game in terms of the "buying" aspect of it, it would be exercising the creative minds but even that can be done elsewhere.

I saw the 8th anniversary thread and maybe everyone that logs in on the day of a milestone can get a free item that symbolizes the milestone. Ex anniversaries, fb likes, new high player count.

They'll probably give us 3 yule logs if we all log on once on the milestone day.
