Does Gifting yourself really yield crappy rewards?
 

Is there any proof or evidence that supports this? I searched and see people saying it does, but no actual proof. So if any creditable people can clarify this, please do so. I havnt had a graal christmas since playing in 2009. For some reason I always quit at the end of the year then pick the game up another 1.5 years later lol. I gifted myself 10x just to see, but yes, I have been gifting my friends that play. So far ive g4g 50 gifts including secret santa daily cap. Just wanted to get that out there before the "meaning of xmas" ppl start flaming about it.

Well. For secret santa. Yes and no, You may get a crappy gift because you cannot choose what gift selection it is (Like cool,thought,cute,Smart). So in a sense kiiindaa? But for buying gifts for you on anothet acc I dont see how it can affect much since graal doesnt know its yout other acc

With same ip yes. Few yrs ago at least.
The proof was opening the gift. Unusually high amount of cookies, eggnog And i saw mexs vid, his hat/item/mount ratios were way higher

Back in the day, people claimed that the system knows when youre gifting yourself, because it will be from the same ip. If its true, it sucks if you and your siblings all play.

You’d either get food or gralats for gifting yourself or if you’re gifting someone with the same IP as well (sibling, cousin, relatives, etc).

Ill gift my alt account and report back after I open them. I'm pretty skeptical a system is in place like that.

You will get more waste-items like food if you gift another account from the same ip.

im very skeptic about it too, i did the same. I gifted myself 20x and put them to the side.

I'll also be providing evidence if this is in place. I only gifted from one account to the other 5 just to finish the 500 cap.

I gifted myself like 30 in 2015 or so and I get gralats from ALL of them so i guess

You only got gralats from the ones you sent to yourself, or including the gifts from other players?

Idk why you guys would even bother wastin money on testing something that was already known again.
If anything just make a new account on a VPN, get the gralats on there and gift yourself that way lol

why not just use secret santa? that's the whole point of that feature.

My suggestion is for you to do Secret Santa AND trade with people with a TON Of gralats. NEVER trade with people who say "Since i got scammed, u go first" or something like that

Sorry for late reply, set the 50ish gifts to one side. All of which were gralats and food. No hats or any other special items. Sorry for not having pics, wife was bugging me to take pictures and bond with my daughter. Took a vacation to Vegas this year.

Yeah I totally forgot about this thread. I only got food and gralats from my own presents.

I gifted myself about 15 times. Mostly food and gralat. 1 hat though. So it's pretty well good to believe I think and based on others responses that it yields crap rewards. So sucks if you got siblings.

first of all, it is your fault you bought 300 gifts for yourself to get more when you could have gotten actual rewards if you put that much real life money into secret Santa. I know it's only ten gifts a day though.
