Most enjoyable Memories in Graal?
 

This post is where people can post their most enjoyable memories while playing Graal, (Any graal game as Zone,Classic, West or others) . Or things you remember or miss. I love to learn more about people and the things they went through when playing the game. And what they enjoy.

These things can be for funny memories, When you met a good friend. Anything that you find that appeals to you that you remember and changed you for the better. Or a memory of something you did that made you proud ( like building a house you loved)

Only rule is please be kind to others ( I know, a unheard of thing anymore) and try not to start drama. Aka needless arguments just because of something you don't like.

Example being is if someone says they liked something in zone, don't be "Oh zone sucks you noob" or do anything that isn't necessary or really needed.

Mine would be the first few weeks of playing graal classic. When I was following through a video to find all the hidden areas, I stumbled upon people acting? I was in the cave and they kept telling me to please leave because their friend died. I was suspecting that they were just acting out some scene, so I stayed silent watching what will happen next. Then they just kept telling to get out getting angrier when I didn't respond. They then just continued on talking how they will miss him.
It was weird since I could not tell if they were talking for real or not.

Next to that memory would be seeing a whole group of people using the same huge shield code. Just funny how people work together unintentionally.

The salt canister code? I remember that. And I would imagine it was a scene for RP it if was me, Because I'd imagine if it was serious it would be done in a pm. ( doesn't mean it wasn't real because you know Graal is just... Graal.) but certainly is interesting.thank you for sharing your memories

My best memory was barricading the little island on the right side of the map with boxes and pissing people off because they weren't allowed inside

Probably the first few months of joining Graal Classic and then the glorious moment 'Era has been released in the app store' got broadcasted by NYN. At the time I didn't know other servers could even exist, this new graal was crazy to me and the earliest memories of iEra were truly the best. Now it hurts to play it and it's quite sad.

Playing early N-pulse/UN sparring vs much harder people overall

I downloaded Classic a few months after it was released. I remember several months later when my friends told me about Era as soon as it was released and I was so confused when everyone was asking "do u have era?" I didn't know what the hell that meant and I was so frustrated! Then someone explained what servers were so I went to the grocery store, purchased a $25 itunes gift card, and downloaded iEra on my second generation iPod touch a couple days after it was released. I bought nearly every single item there was to buy using Gralat packs, including that ugly dragon skinned ferrari. I was a legend.

About 4 days after the release I noticed that a girl named Homeless Witch was gaining hours at the hospitals. She had about 100 hours at the time which meant that she pretty much stayed online since it was released, and I complimented her and asked how she got so many hours but she was pretty rude about it.

Around March of 2011 I met this guy named Vince*. He was translucent with a head and body that I have not seen before. "Customs" were a foreign concept (in fact, they weren't even a concept really) at the time, so I asked which shop he got those from. He's like "nah, I made my own custom head and body on my computer, lowered the opacity, and sent it to the staff to see if I could pay for them to upload it and they said yes." I was curious so I found a head template and started changing the colors on paint. It took a few tries but I finally emailed the file to staff and they said no. I was disappointed. I started spreading the word that someone had made a custom head and body and thus, the term "custom" became a thing in the community. One month or so later, they released the website for custom head and body uploads on era.

Fast forward another month, I got the Graal Client, downloaded every single head and body file I could find, and started a website called twizgraal.webs.com. I allowed people to create accounts on my website, download their own edits and customs, and pretty soon I had about 3000 different customs, recolors, and edits all free to the taking. The site got popular on Era and caused a whole community of players who had customs to come together into one place. I also offered shield codes, status codes, tips and tricks, and whole lot of other ****. The players loved it and I finally achieved the fame that I strived for since I started playing.

I started to submit applications for the graphics department. I never did hear a response back but they decided to make a shop with only my hats that stayed up for a couple months, so kudos to those of you who still have any of my hats. The shop displayed my NPC with my iconic head with the purple/yellow hair and red face mask.

Before identification was a thing you had to email the player relations department to get an account transferred to a different device by sending your Graal ID. They screwed up my transfer around mid to late 2012 and my account was gone forever. They wouldn't respond to my complaints. I had nearly every weapon and rare item at the time so I was pretty pissed off about it.

That being said, I lost motivation on Graal. I left for about 6 months, came back, and discovered that a new website with a more aesthetic vibe to it was created by another person that was nearly identical to mine. It was called GraalDepot and offered the same content. That explained the decline in activity on twizgraal since I left. I was mad for a while that my idea was taken but got over it pretty quick. Not too long after that happened I started a new career on Zone and somehow acquired the legendary blue streamer when trading was introduced, and I still have it. I was hired to the graphics team and realized how s***ty the Graal management system was so I quit my position and stopped playing.

Those are the highlights of my Graal story.

Also I haven't changed my name since 2010. It was twizzler-1 for a week after I downloaded Classic and I changed it to TWIZ after my friend, Sic, gave me that nickname. Sic played era with me for a few weeks after the release but he's long gone now.

Sounded like you helped a lot in improving Era during its early stages, and if Twizgraal does have over 3000 different customs, You probably also may have contributed a lot to advances and ideas for people's customs. And over 3k is really impressive for that timeframe. I also have heard that GraalDepot was based on another website which I assume is yours since you had the idea first. A awesome story and memory

Probably pking with the guild Revenge. It made such a strenuous and repetitive activity fun.

My friend who now hates graal got me to download it on an ipod I got for christmas in 2013. I remember I spent a day at his house trying to find a wife to marry lmfao. I did a bunch of pervert things like pretending to have s3x.

Hah, bet you guys wish that friend never happened to decide to introduce me to graal. I honestly have no idea what my gaming life would have been in middle school without graal, and now I pretty much don't have it anymore lol.

I'm gonna be completely honest .. the entire reason why I downloaded graal to play it was because I saw something where it said you could marry people and smash LMAO so I can't say I didn't do any different. May be the secret to how Unix gets people in graal to get their bread although only reason I stayed was actually because of the towering and PKing.

Glitched off the map to Nimda and managed to hit an invisible admin while randomly swinging my sword around on the south beach of the island.

Been one of the early people to get a 1k and the road to getting it was a lot of fun due to rivalry with other guilds.


Most of the good times I’ve had were mostly due to me being younger and more easily entertained though

Meeting Green valeria and Divine Impera in 2012 or 2011. Meeting Advanced, Axel, Doglike, and Bubz. Pissing the crap out of all sparrers in 2013. Winning GST 2014, Northern Sign. Attempts to come back 2015 with Gds/czort, BLR, and ravage.

I wanna go back to 2011 tbh.

It was a few years now but back in 2013 me and my guild would always take the time to go to Air Asia take the time to hangout, chat and place hide and seek there we had lots of fun but the guild slowly died over time and in 2014 they removed Air Asia and everyone went there separate ways from that moment.

Wasn't there an accident at air asia shortly after it was removed?
Also i heard Air asia son played iEra, which is why they had a contract.

When I got Xor's statue. It was in 2014, I was litterally spamming Xor so I could have his statue, then he told me to stop. I said that I'd stop if he came. He just came and grabbed the statue I left for him and I didn't get ban even if that would be almost worth a ban lol

Guild wars with Ventrue in the Mausoleum, participating in the Graalolympics. Farming trees on 2K1 and making new friends. Managing Graal 2000 and hating every second of it. Protesting on Graal Bridge. Could go on for a long time.

Opening my gifts every Christmas with friends is always a precious experience, really fun and exciting!

most days are great memories now tbh, honestly the best memories ive had were probably meeting all of the great people i know today across all of the different servers, as sappy as that is ive had one friend for nearly three years now who i still actively talk to

I remember a feeling I once had in my early graal days in which I was unaware of all of those great sparrers, towerers, pkers, etc. The list seemed so vast; I felt safe while exploring knowing that there were players all around I could look up to. I still get that feeling but seeing the nature of those players and those attitudes now only take me back to how I once perceived them.

Now, I'm one of those players with a positive spar ratio and lots of PK's, now players look up to me. :'(:blush:

Whenever Stefan would annouce theres server lag everyone would head to swamp town to get out of the map and get into old destiny.

Been to Nimda island a good 7 times been in the forest maze above it with the little tree house was pretty cool.

Going to the sushi bar outside of snowtown with Jada and buying sushi for 25 gralats.

My first guild 1k (Ximtra) miss the guys and then made my own 1k guild (Xzenix).

Xor agreed to being my 500K kill he annouced a broadcast message (recieve 3k pms within minutes crazy) and gave me a golden xor statue for free!

Vip server out map, got cought by my old friend burgerbatman and gave me a warning saw some cool buildings and interiors.

Getting dragged by a staff member all around the map :P

(Obsidian FB) at mod fort when sonjour requested a challenge and nobody could take mod fort from us and because of that furryamigo offered a hat of our choice but sonjour ended up choosing the flame china hat that was sold at rev or nexus for 1 gralat lmao but even so things like that dont happen these days.

Passing EP for top pks in 2012 or 2013. When the leaderboards was top 50 watching my name go up the top pks board and at one point pking with him at mod some old rivaly there but always had respect for the dude.

Probably lol. I couldn't imagine it ever happening to me because I've never been one to ever spend much time in the actual open graal world.which is probably extremely odd now that I think about it. Always in a building or a house. Would make for a good NPC
