Spring 2017 GST Prediction Thread
 

It's GST season again, so let the insults fly and the tears fall as usual with the prediction thread. I've paid Colin to look the other way so don't pull any punches.

iDev

1. 7ives- Even with a new roster I can still realistically place this team as the favorite to win.
2. Profound- Just can't see them beating 7ives in my head rn unless other people step up to help Kicko.
3. Sith- I can see some of the Sith idev people stepping up to place if the bracket is in their favor.

Mixed

1. ULTRA- Not a whole lot of explanation needed for this one
2. Chief- Pretty good roster, I can see them beating Sith if they face them in bracket before ULTRA. It also makes a lot of sense for John to join this team if he decides to do gst.
3. Sith- Don't see anyone else really forming for mixed so by default these guys will place high.

Feel free to give your own predictions or discuss other matchups, undoubtedly insulting people in the process.

I believe someone I don't give a darn about will probably win this time.. again.

Sarah plz tell ur alumni goonies to piss off this gst so we other lower class teams actually have a chance of getting the :belt:

I think this is the season Qes steps up and finally takes his team to the promise land tbh, with the improvement of scarchaotic (finally) averaging more than 2 hits a round i think they'll win in this non-competitive gst. 7ives idk maybe dark becomes first idevice to 3peat and maybe he'll lose to dot idk it all depends on how many hits he claims he gets to get them a W.
& Omnes, i've seen *all hail* god droon spar actively this season and it's safe to say the god might not win this time but he'll get close.

Thallen wins every season its not even a debate anymore. Prime places 2nd almost every season it's not a debate anymore. And finally to 3rd place in mixed, Maori, commandos team. I think after the beating comando took (1-6 & 2-6 respectively) against Deity last gst he will have the fire burning deep inside him to get more than 3 hits in 2 matches and if he does i think he'll get 3rd cus he'll remember to throttle his connection this time around lol

profound placing top 16 tbh we have rebels and if u think we gonna beat silver with his curse ur f*king ******ed lol

Ok so I know these predictions may differ in the minds of many but hear me out...
Firstly, Qes is doing idev with DoT this gst and I heard scar has switched back to idev as well.. I don't see how they can lose??
DontOverThink is just too good, they've been absolutely killing it in gs practice this season... Please remember both DoT and DontOverThink have ZERO losses at belle. Stats don't lie.
Male is a very experienced team now and is highly skilled at not getting hit. I think their random hitbox that constantly changes throughout the spar will be too much to handle and without Sarah, Male will dominate 7ives for revenge of the phenomenal semi finals match up last season.
I really didn't want to say this, but Profound really sucks and idk why they are even considered a top 32 team. They only qualify if Mex goes on his 2 alts like he has been for the last 2 months and boosts for them. Crime just sucks at spar. I don't think he got a single hit last gst, same goes for fro. Super had a good run last gst but he chokes vs Male so I don't see how any team as good as Male would lose to Profound. Jose has lost to Silver more times than I can count so he sucks(who loses to silver tbh lol). And lets be real kicko's prime days are over hes grown up and the older he gets the stupider he is. On the bright side, they have rebels who is a beast but idk if he is strong enough to carry 6 other whales.

Maybe biscuits, bacon, egg and cheese, a sausage, danish, hash browns too. And for dessert hot apple pies, and sundaes three varieties, a soft-serve cone, three kinds of shakes, and chocolatey chip cookies. Please

mixed is kinda embarrassing - same people entering and losing on repeat because they have no leverage to recruit better GSers (usually due to bad personalities)
apostles stood a better chance without SLX, no idea why they chose to merge into sith

idevice could be close, especially if noss is on 7ives and loses his cool and/or if abood doesn't care enough but i think they'll win

what is the date for gst?

the date for spring GST is may 25th I think it's the last Saturday in may and I didn't check if the 25th of may is a Saturday or not I'm too lazy...

2. Profound - If they don´t rush in like madmen and play to their advantage I can actually see them win over 7ives

3. idk - idc

Mixed:
1. ULTRA - Clear Favourite. Strong roster with players who have good synergy

2. Chief - Strong roster, if they can get some good synergy I see them placing well

3. Sith - Don´t see them beating the other two teams I mentioned above, but they should have a decent chance, since most other mixed teams are ass

1.ULTRA-Alumni's Strongest team yet honestly(Kicked the selective sparers for sarah and fulGOAT)
2.Sith-Tho Apostles was alot stronger I think they could out place the other teams on the back of Primetime(Better known as Wu Demigod,Primate Me§§iah.Circa 99') and James052
3.Chief-Strong sparers like Vlad and Herc but could see zideric(How ever you spell it) and Liam dieing quickly
With the high possibility of them both going into cardiac arrest over getting hit (Severe anger problems)
