Why is everyone so easily triggered now? I was offering help to everyone in Burger Refuge then this girl was asking for help so I PMed her what she needed help with but instead of PMing the girl asking for help I accidentally tapped on someone else and PMed them "What do you need help in?" That's just wrong place wrong time... Moon has been through a lot this past month. I don't want to give out too much of her business, but after what happened she's needed to see a psychiatrist, and has been refusing to go. She won't talk to her family about it either. She's trying to be strong, but her mental state has been pretty damaged. It's not surprising she reacted the way she did to you asking her what she needs help with, she probably thought one of her friends told you to try and talk to her. I'm sorry she lashed out at you like that, but don't judge humanity as a whole for the hardships one single girl is facing.

I know It's wrong but this person just stood out to me, Never have I seen someone be so aggressive to another person out of the blue, Yes I've seen videos online and there are trolls who act aggressive out of no where but that's because well...they're trolls but for that to happen to me? Never would've​ thought It would happen.

People have been getting offended and have voiced and fought for their culture, ideas, and beliefs for as long as people have been communicating with each other. The difference now is that it is much easier to voice and fight for your opinions, and also easier to hear other opinions and be fought against.

Before the internet became readily available to most of the world, people were safe and happy in their small, little worlds. People are able to share all of the things that were once strictly personal--culture, religious beliefs, political views, sexuality--to every single person on the internet, and are now being introduced to the same personal things everyone else on the internet is sharing.

No I don't spend much time online and when I do it's just to check messages or emails.

I don't go outside my house often too so I don't meet a lot of people like her.

Well, considering that it's rare for people that have mental problems that require professional attention to randomly lash out at someone who mistakingly offered help, I'd be pretty surprised. I think that's the point he's making. Tell me how many other people that had mental problems that required professional attention randomly have lashed out at you for mistakingly offering help. You said it yourself, wrong place wrong time. Usually people use that phrase to describe rare situations.

First of all, the story I typed up about her was satire, giving a possible explanation as to why she messaged him in that way. Whether she has mental problems or not is unknown. Secondly, this is over the internet, on an online game. People tend to show their true selves when they have anonymity online. They don't have to be polite. They can be as blunt and mean as they wish. This is what happened to the op. If you're going to use the internet to interact with people, especially on an MMO, you'll see people act like this all the time. It's not a rare thing.
