My favorite game. It has such an improvement compared to the first one. The multiplayer is so good, and it tops any CoD(ok maybe not BO2 or MW, but theres a chance). Its super fun, does anyone have it? Also i have a network I just made called Unlike Pluto, if anyone wants to join.

I have it and I'd say im a pretty good player. Haven't played the new update yet though.

I liked the free trial and was gonna buy it but xbox's easter sale has it for $30 even though every single store that has it on sale sells it for $20. I don't wanna buy a physical copy, though, so I guess I'm mot getting Titanfall 2.... was surprisingly pretty fun, though.

Lots of my friend dont like getting physical copies, why is that? I've always liked them better.

Digital copies are very convenient if you have good internet.

If you can't drive to a retail store that sells physical copies you can always buy digital and just download it. Also don't need to worry about shipping costs and delivery times if you order online.

I've gotten tired of getting up and putting a new disc in every time I want to play a different game, so I've moved mostly to digital copies. It's just a lot more convenient, and you don't have to worry about breaking a disc and being screwed out of $60.

Only thing that sucks is that digital sales are always **** compared to physical sales when it comes to console games. Not sure why, especially since they cost less to make because there's no packing costs... Amazon always has sales on physical games only, so a physical game will be $8 while the digital copy will still be $59.99

Well technically if you match shipping costs, gas and probably some other side costs to getting the game then they're about the same.

I think time is a better deciding factor.

I recently bought Persona 5 digitally and it's actually like a buck more expensive than buying the physical copy.

On a side note, i plan on getting the vanguard collectors edition when I get enough money.

I really like how they are bringing old maps from tf1. Angel city was a really good and memorable map, the other one, (Of which its name i don't remember.) was also pretty fun. Some info has shown they are bringing the map where the ship had been crashed into the ground.

If there was one thing Titanfall 1 did right, it was the maps, and that has clearly been shown in Titanfall 2 aswell.

Colony was the second remastered map. The only map I hate is dropship(I think thats the name). To boring.

Two new maps!!! They both look real nice, the first map reminds me of that one in the dlc for titanfall 1, and how it was a mix between a computer glitch and the real world, with alot of orange and blue on the map. Can't wait.

Deck, the new live fire map also looks good, the drone flying around seems like a good advantage for grappling hooks.

You mean Wargames? They're bringing it back in a future DLC content around summertime. They're also bringing back Frontier Defense from TF1 as well as a new Titan. I love this game and it's wonderful updates (except Colony due to R101c being an exact reskin of R201).

Gotta respect them for not locking 80% of the maps/modes behind a season pass.

I'm so hyped for Glitch In The Frontier! One of the maps looks like when your going through training, plus I really want a new titan. Also, I bought some skins and they are A1.

Sadly no. I wish, but my PC wouldnt be able to run it, plus I dont like shooters on PC i shake to much lol

New DLC came out a day or two ago. So far, its really good! I love the map, its very fluid and fun. I really want the new execution so I've been using the pulse blade. I've only gotten 1 kill so far, but I feel like there were a few times it was to close to be a miss. I havent unlocked the new faction but I may buy it. What are you opinions?

Didn't realise it was even out! I haven't played many games at all this week. I'll have to update tonight and play over the weekend.

I'm gonna buy the new faction because i love the robot dude. I also heard they are increasing the level cap from 10 to 100?

They really need to nerf the R-97. They overbuffed it a few patches ago and does way too much damage for what the gun is designed to do. It's a high RoF gun so it made no sense to give it the damage buff it had. It's just not fun when a majority of players on PC use it because it just melts you. Hopefully, Respawn will tweak it like they did to Devotion.

From what I've observed, SMGs are ****ing ludicrous in this game. If you want to nerf one you gotta nerf them all. The CAR and Alternator and R-97 are meta as ****.

The auto-aim triggers me beyond anything like every time I see somebody get aimbotted by a Flatline or something I get severe PTSD of Destiny's auto-rifles.

Titan Brawl is live, I cant wait to play some. Seems really cool!

I find the CAR to be fine. It was always the long range SMG even in TF1. Alternator is good, just OP as hell when Amped since 2-shots at range and you're dead. The Volt needs some love again. They overnerfed the damn thing and not even worth using over other SMGs. Just the one thing that bothers me and where I can see you coming from is how SMGs dominate ARs. Yeah CAR is long range but R-97 and Alternator really aren't so why do they do crazy amounts of damage for their range?

All three are long range since they can have potentially zero recoil which is absurd.

And it gets even worse when they're amped.

They're pretty much like CSGO weapons with short as hell time-to-kill and less bullet RNG when they're amped.

My main weapon is the flatline, then the softball, and finally the double-take.

I use the R-97(I did before buff) and now I feel bad lol

One thing I wished Titanfall 2 did was keep TF1 Burn Cards. The cards were awesome, and you couldn't buy them with cash so it was fairly balanced. These cards were earned by playing and doing challenges and also came in card packs. You choose 3 cards to bring with you into battle and these can be anywhere from map-hacks to having a titan ready as soon as you spawn to even an amped weapon. The difference was that in TF1 the amped weapon was based on the card. For example, C.A.R. Amped Car would give you the Amped Car rather than this cheesy boost system amping all your weapons. I feel that it was better balance in one than two since Boosts are easy to get. Ah, well.

Eh I'm pretty indifferent about burn cards they seemed like a pretty weird addition to the game.

But I think the current system is fine aside form amped weapons which is probably the most braindead ability in this entire game. Its just press X to do more damage thats literally it.

One thing I've noticed about this game is that the people who abuse the movement system perform the best. If you play this game like you would an older CoD or Battlefield game you are going to get your **** pushed in. If you aren't flying across the map and jump-strafing the **** out of people then you just aren't playing the game right.

That's probably my favorite thing about this game is that it brutally punishes campers. If you play super aggressive with phase-shift and stim you are practically untouchable and you'll run rings around campers while hipfiring them to hell.

IMO this game is what I wish Warframe's Conclave was like. The movement system is a bit more restrictive and far less chaotic than in Warframe but combat is centered around it so its only fair that it remains simple. I guess the movement system in Warframe works well enough in PVP but then the weapons all feel like they do nothing.

I can sorta bunny hop but i cant fly around which sucks. Does anyone here do that? I havent seen many people do it, at least not on xbox.

Titanfall 2
 

The xbox community on titanfall 2 are all relatively poor. I've seen people do it but they are easy to kill because most of them don't do it right.

Just go into a match one day and just try some jumps, you'll eventually find some great jumps you can use to gain an advantage.

I've seen some great bunny hoppers on PC that can air strafe and aim well. FrothyOmen is one known individual. He is pretty amazing when it comes to bunny hopping correctly and has tutorials on how to do it on his channel.

Titan brawl is really fun. Im learning to use ronin so im no longer a tone scrub.

Right now I really like running stim with CAR and Northstar.

Didn't realize how much I liked Northstar until I totally cleaned house with her this one game. Honestly thought Tone was going to be my go-to Titan but I feel like she does too little damage for some reason lol.

Also like I said, SMGs in this game are ****ing ridiculous.

On PC they completely overshadow carbines. Put a holo ranger scope on the CAR and you can almost snipe people with it its insane.

Ion:
- Overcore
- Grand Cannon
- Dome Shield

I love Ion even before everyone start using her because of the Tone nerfs. Her laser shot is a great anti-pilot tool and some great burst damage on Titans. I love her whole Energy mechanic as it really makes you think and act on what you should be doing. Should you use both laser shots or use one and save for the Vortex Shield? I love her core and find myself using Grand Cannon just to extend the duration.

As for Pilots:
-Stim
- CAR w/ Speed Loader & Tactikill
- MGL w/ Speed Loader & Gun Ready
- Health Regen
- Low Profile
- Arc Grenade

CAR was always my favorite SMG in TiF1 and it's no different in 2. Sure, the SMGs are broken as all hell in TiF2 but I just love the CAR. Not only is the gun smooth, but the animations are pretty epic as well. I love the reload animation in particular. I use Speed Loader to reload faster and Tactikill to get my Stim back fast. Stim is just so good and is my favorite Pilot ability.

Honorable Mention:
- Phase Shift
- Firestar
- Alternator (same mods as CAR)
- Same kit as CAR
Alternator is an amazing SMG that packs a punch. I usually use it when facing players who are really trying. I love the sprint animation as Pilots hold the gun in one hand when running. Truly a beastly SMG.

WHY DIDNT I SEE THIS THREAD BEFORE! I GOT TITANFALL 2 FOR MY BDAY ON NOVEMBER 7 LAST YEAR AND ITS LIKE THE BEST FPS GAME

Seems to be lol. Apart from CS:GO, mostly every FPS on current-gen has more players than the PC counterpart. BF3,4,1 are just some examples. COD is always more populated on console and TiF1/2 takes the cake as well.

Never experienced an aimbot, or at least never had a game ruined by one. If anything, hacks probably occur more on PC than consoles.

Nah its literally in the game's code where rifles and LMGs will get some heavy aim-assist so that way your stupid thumbs don't have to do too much work.
