I want to lose my body fat.
I want to be thinner, feel better, and look better without equipments within a year, I think it has to do something with my health since my stamina isn't great and my back is starting to hurt since my mom has scoliosis but I still want to have a good body. Right now my waistline is 34 ~ 36 and I weigh 80 something kg or something idk what scale, but its pretty high up there. Right now I'm doing the insanity workout routine, I'm also doing this to stop my sexual urges.. or fapping since I'm trying to stop fapping too much since school stress and depression.
Anyone know how I could get thinner and having a good body but I'll also need diet recommendations since I only eat like twice a day and tons of junk food. |
I know this is a crazy and very weird tip but I lost most of my fat after drinking a lot of COLD water. All I did was store a whole bunch of water bottles in my fridge and I'd drink them every time I get bored or just a little hungry. I did this for a while and lost fat somehow. I googled this and I found out that it increases your metabolism or something like that.
|
Ok well for starters, eat better.
Eat 3 meals a day and don't skip breakfast. Cut the junk food. If I were you I'd start a jogging routine. Start off simple and easy, don't push yourself too hard and as you improve your overall stamina aim for longer distances. I try to jog around my neighborhood every day if I'm not too busy. |

but i wouldn't recommend it if you want to lose weight in a healthy way. i've been doing it before and lost about 7kg in one month (before i got caught : ^( ) but it makes you tired and of course, hangry... so... just follow a diet plan and exercise a lot? patience and determination is all you need (=^ ◡ ^=)!! |
Try to puke after u had a meal

count calories
edit: this is actually the answer, it's not an opinion. literally all you need to learn how to do. |

Cardio is key, the idea is to get a caloric deficit. This means burn more than you eat, water is a good substitute for boredom hunger and such but as stated do not starve yourself, you will burn more calories eating regularly but keep the meals healthy

1. Don't drink your calories, avoid soda.
2. Know what you are eating, goes along with counting calories Your metabolism doesn't mean a whole lot when you're trying to lose/gain weight, its all about the calories going in and out of your body. If you are eating right you don't even need to exercise and to the average person you will look just as good. |
Become a roofer, it's the easiest way

Count calories. Seriously, just count calories. It's science: it's how the body works. You take in calories, you burn calories, any calories not burnt are stored in fat. Don't take in more calories than your body loses and bam, you start losing weight. Exercising speeds up the process but just counting calories can be enough(albeit slow).
Download an app that helps you track calories. They will give you a goal and every time you eat you log it and it will tell you how many calories you can consume as the day goes by. Eating healthy means nothing if you don't actually make decisions based on caloric intake. For example everyone thinks salads are so healthy but by the time you drown it in dressing it has more calories than any meal you decided not to eat instead. |
What Dusty and Crono said 100%.
The trick is to choose fibrous vegetables and low GI foods that take longer to digest so you feel fuller for longer. Make those foods dense in nutrients but lighter in calories. You could eat 1 chocolate bar a day and still be within your daily calories but you won't be happy, you'd probably get malnourished and yet still lose weight. A simple way to cut a huge amount of calories out of your diet is the elimination of refined sugar and white, processed carbs (white breads are a big example). Favour whole grain but better favour unprocessed vegetables and other carbs (legumes). Don't drink anything but water - for some, artificial sweeteners can trigger an insulin response. Insulin literally tells the body to store fat, process glucose, since glucose is toxic if left lying around, hence diabetes. It's not so much losing body fat but being healthy. There are numerous ways to lose body fat, a lot which are unhealthy. Body fat also isn't as clear cut either. Subcataneous fat, i.e under your skin, is not unhealthy. The fat that causes problems is abdominal, visceral fat that encases your organs. This is the stuff that harms you. This is what you want to worry about. You mention you dehydrate easily? I would schedule a doctor's appointment about that and request a fasting blood sugar test, given you are concerned about body fat. If there is a problem there, it's best for your doctor to know and oversee any dietary regime. Luckily, the best medicine for those sorts of problems is good diet and exercise. It can certainly make weight loss harder if not recognised and controlled. I hope this helps and hope you succeed :) |
I feel you are considering counting calories (as you should) I recommend the app MyFitnessPal, it is excellent for counting calories as well as keeping track or your macros

Jk, don't do that. 60% (Something around that) of your overall physique, is caused from what you consume. If you are really looking to get into shape, I recommend setting a diet. If you want to improve your overall muscle physique and don't feel like buying a gym membership, or simply don't want to buy one. You can do: Push Ups, Sit Ups, Squats and (Extra option) planks before you go to bed at night (What I prefer) but you can do it anytime that works best for yourself. You can start off small, and each week go up a little bit. I started at 25 each, and now I'm doing 125 of each, and 4 reps of 30 second planks today. Just by doing this, you can gain a lot of muscle, in the comfort of your household. I know my recommendation is a little different from what you're asking, but It's what I did when I wanted to improve my physique. |
Don't starve yourself, you will just get fatter.
I'd also not recommend consuming a septuacentennial cupcake in a cup. |
Literally all it takes is an hour of your time, 4% of your entire day, to exercise. Along with exercising obviously comes eating right.
What I do is buy 3 proteins (chicken, beef, steak) and buy different veggies (red/green pepper, asparagus, tomatoes, broccoli, etc), and cook a variety of meals using the protein and veggies you bought. It makes it taste better if you get like rice, lettuce wraps, or pasta to throw with it. It's not hard to lose weight, you just have to take action by do-ing. Don't think, don't try, just do. |
Id say you start getting into a sport (maybe not with extreme dedication but just as a hobby to practice) and play with your friends too
|
our body isn't magic. just get a habit in to running everyday. you will see the result after 2 months.
if it's hard for you to run 5 miles a day. rest for a little, then run again. in pace. sweating for good amount of time is important. and calories consumption. i think other people here covered really well for that. |
I see a lot of suggestions to focus on exercise. That's a wonderful suggestion but there are a few problems with that:
- diet is the first and foremost priority. Perhaps 95% of the results stem from good eating habits. Exercise is a good keystone habit that will influence dietary choices but it should not be favoured in comparison to diet. - the type of exercise suggested is probably harmful to somebody who isn't fit and has extra weight. Walking is a better starting point as you could risk harming your joints with anything that has higher impact i.e running. |

I say exercise and diet goes hand-in-hand. Added: if you want to make healthier decisions, why not go all out and do both? There's no reason not to other than excuses. "No time" also isn't an excuse. For example, I work from 8am-11am. Have class from 11am-1:30pm. Have work from 2-5. Have class from 5:30-8:10. Do homework between 8:30 and bed time at 10. The only time I have time to exercise is in the morning, so I made it a habit to get up at 5am and exercise until 7:30 (that includes getting ready for my day and showering). It's not hard to be fit, you just have to make logical decisions and actions. |
Start gaining muscle (get stronger) the more muscle you have the more calorie you will burn, if in a caloric deficit you'll start burning fat. If you don't want to do that then try intermittent fasting where you skip breakfast and don't eat 5 - 8 hours (depending on how you can handle it you'll eventually adapt) since waking up and having your meals later in the day.

It's pretty simple - all you've got to do is eat potato salad and quit the Burger King.

Learn self discipline. Don't buy any junk food in the first place, if you are constantly looking for snacks that means your main meals aren't substantial enough. Eat complex carbs over simple carbs and they'll give more sustained energy to you, preventing you from unnecessarily eating tons of other junk as well. Cut down on excessive fat, carbs, sugar, oil, and salt. Try eating lots of celery too, apparently it burns carbs (not sure if true or not), but stuff with a lot of fibre would be good for you too :) I think a healthy diet is #1 so hopefully this will help.

just try to exercise a lot, and not that crap gym stuff, go hiking or kayaking.
do something that you want to do instead of basically self-torture. can't give advice on food sry |
Hi I'm posting progress rn on how I do my workout routine and how I feel.
1st day; Felt really tired of doing 20 squats, 20 hip thrusts, 20 push ups, 20 incline push ups. 2nd day; Still doing the same excercise, I drank mostly water and little of fatty foods, I only ate 2x rice and chicken (Lunch and Dinner.) also my my hands feel lighter since I was using an 10kg barbel every time I watch YouTube which is a lot. 3rd day; Had lasagna and just finished doing 40 squats, 40 hip thrusts, 40 incline push ups, 20 push ups, I lost my barbel I can't find it anywhere. Edit: forgot to note I was using my school bag as a barbel since it's 9kg. I don't know what's a good excercise for chests. Also forgot to mention I did an excercise routine on the 25th when I posted this. Excercise routine is still the same. |
Don't eat rice.. it's bad well not super bad but still
you should only eat one cup (if you're really hungry) if you want to be healthy then eat brown rice but just because it is brown rice doesn't mean you may eat a lot only one cup bread is also bad and pasta |

Counting calories isn't an effective way imo. Theoretically, you could eat hamburgers only and still lose weight if you count correctly. It doesn't have to be healthy. I mean, of course, you need to burn more calories than you take in order to lose weight. Going on a hard diet wont help either as your body will believe that you're starving and is automatically going to store fat to survive. It'll burn muscle instead and you probably don't want that. You should focus on eatling healthy - eat lots of vegetables, long-chained carbs and low fat meat such as chicken. Lamb is a good option aswell as it has carnitine which helps burning fat, too. Fruits are okayish but don't eat too many of them since they have sugar. Besides water you should drink tea only (if you miss soft drinks too much you can drink cola light, though it'll make you hungry due to the used aspartam). Green tea supports your metabolism. As already mentioned, cold water is helping you as your body will burn energy in order to keep the body-temperature constant. You should drink a glass of water before and after every meal to fill your stomach. Throughout the day, 2-3 liters of water are perfect. It also "cleans" your body. And don't eat too fast, your body takes about 20 minutes to reliaze whether your hunger has been stilled or not. Eating fast food every now and then is okay as long as you don't overdo it. Adding flavorings like cinnamon or chilli helps you burn fat, you should take those instead of dressings/sauces if possible. Just be careful with salt, it drains your body.
Eating the right things do about 70%, you should focus on it instead of doing sports. Your first step after correcting your eating behaviour should be to build some mucles as they require energy to be maintained. Lifting weights should do good (around 2-3 times a week splitting your exercises). Keep an eye on the right performance, it's not important how much you lift. Additionally, you should run/jog. SInce you said you don't have that much stamina, you should start with an aerobic way. Meaning, run at a given pace that doesn't give you the feeling of being exhausted. Once you feel like you're having a good fitness condition you can do a HIIT method (googling it should give you good explanation). Buying additional weights helps aswell and they're not expensive at all (paid 10 bucks for mine). Another important thing is to keep yourself motiviated. I usually hit the gym with a friend, it doesn't matter who just a person which keeps you going. You can also reward yourself with sweets or any goods if you reach a milestone (just don't overdo it if you choose to reward yourself with candies). Whenever you feel hungry you can eat as much salad as you want. but the only thing you should add to it is vinegar. Low fat curd cheese is another great option aswell - it has a lot of proteins and a low amount of carbs. It also contains casein which'll benefit you a lot. A spoon cinnamon also helps you whenever you crave for sugar. |

But it's a start, so go you |
Exercising and all of that is great but another big part of being healthy is just stocking your fridge up with the right foods and then eating them when you're hungry. Rather than just taking the first snack you see such as potato chips, you should try to make it a goal to make your fruits and vegetables easily obtainable so you eat those instead. I'd suggest you get your mind off of eating things because they taste good and instead eating things because they make you FEEL good. At first in a diet change like this it may be hard to adapt but after the first week it gets easier. As it goes on you'll feel a lot better and you will start to crave foods that make you feel good.

Its okay to suck on it but eating ice has some bad consequences for your teeth. But instead I recommend you get a pet dog. That way you can take it out for walks while exercising ^~^ Plus depending on the breed they can be great motivation to go outside :3 But I guess if you have a cat you can take it out for walks as well :3 |
